Trip was amazing! Only thing would be maybe spending more time in each location. The trade off would then be visiting fewer places or lengthening the trip, but I thought Fes was the best location since we were able to explore the city.
My wife and I had recently completed our second guided trip and it was everything that we had expected. Provided us with a great tour and adventure on the 11-day "Discovery of Morocco". Our tour guide was a very professional, knowledgeable, passionate and likable individual. The bus driver for our tour was also awesome and provided our small intimate group with much safety and great stops along the way. I would highly recommend taking this guided tour to Morocco.
My 19 day Moroccan trip with World Expeditions was really in two parts. The explorer part where we visited the major destinations and learnt about the culture and history of Morocco. And the second part being the seven day trek to Mount Toubkal. This part was hard work but satisfying with excellent support from porters and the cook. The food was fantastic and much easier than we had had at restaurants. Highly recommended this trip for the adventurous.

After three years of back 2 back beach vacations, I was ready for something different and Morocco was it in every way. Our guide, Layla, was phenomenal. She was warm, endlessly knowledgeable, and the kind of person who anticipates questions before you even ask. She brought every stop to life, whether we were walking through the historic Medina of Fez or standing in awe before the architectural marvel of the Hassan II Mosque.
One of my personal highlights was the Todra Gorge. As someone who’s hiked canyons in Arizona and Utah, I can honestly say this was even more dramatic. It had sheer walls that glowed orange in the sun and a stillness that felt almost sacred. The camel ride to our desert camp in Merzouga was unforgettable. Watching the sun dip below the dunes, then sharing dinner and music under the stars with fellow travelers made for a night I’ll always remember. You can say it was a beautiful moment to be cherished forever.
The hotels exceeded expectations. They were clean, comfortable, and full of authentic Moroccan touches like tiled courtyards and lantern lit lounges. Sure, some days involved long drives, but the scenery made them feel like part of the adventure. We passed through ancient kasbahs, date palm oases, and tiny villages.
The team took care of everything with precision and warmth. From airport pickups to luggage handling it all just worked. For the price and what’s included, this tour is an incredible value. I returned home feeling enriched!
We took a 10 days trip from Marrakesh to Fes, through Ourzazat and Merzuga desert. Our driver was Mokhtar. We had wonderful time. mokhtar is a very skilled and friendly driver, knowing a lot about every region of Moroco. He knows good photo spots as well. The hotel we stayed in Ourzazat was boutique and very relaxing. The second night we stayed in a luxury camp at the desert, which was above the expectations. A great experience to see a lot of Morocco in relatively short time - I highly recommend Top Desert Tours and Mohamed! From beginning to end, our 5-day journey was an incredible experience. The high point? The hot air balloon ride, camel ride, and quad riding were definitely highlights. An adventure seeker's dream comes true when they can ride a quad bike across desert dunes, swing softly on a camel's back, or fly above stunning vistas in a hot air balloon! My room mate and I made the decision to embark on this adventure, and we both agree that it was without a doubt the most memorable experience of our lives. Mohamed, our tour guide, was really kind and helpful during our time together, and he took very good care of us. The desert is a breathtaking and beautiful place to visit. The accommodations were wonderful, and they even had a pool. Along the route, there were a number of rest spots with restrooms and refreshment areas . We had a great time participating in the many outdoor activities that were available, particularly the horseback riding, hiking, and quad biking. I highly recommend them!
