Loved it all. The usual mix of guided tours and free time, with excellent hotels and a good crowd on the bus. Of course in any country there is so much to see and one tour cannot see it all but this was certainly a great effort at experiencing as much as possible within my time and budget constraints.
From the neon lights of Tokyo to the peaceful temples of Kyoto, Japan was incredible. Riding the bullet train was a highlight, and the cherry blossoms in Osaka were breathtaking!
The Japan Unrivalled trip was an amazing blend of hitting all the touristy hotspots, finding out of the way gems, learning all about the amazing history, and eating amazing food! Ikimasho!

The tour guides were knowledgeable, vibrant, and fun. During the trip we covered an extensive area of Japan, our tour guide manage the times almost to perfection dispute traffic and rain.
I loved this tour, not just for the beautiful sights but for how much I learned. Japan is so different from North America in terms of culture, manners, even how people move through a city. I found it fascinating.
The tour guide didn’t just take us from place to place. He taught us about Shinto traditions, post-war history, Japanese etiquette (like how to bow or take off your shoes in homes), and more. I felt like I came home not just with photos, but with a better understanding of the world.
We saw cherry blossoms, temples, even deer in Nara Park. Hiroshima moved me deeply. The whole trip was emotional and eye-opening, but in the best way.
I’m 66, and this tour was easy on the body and stimulating for the mind. What more could you ask for?
I loved Japan seeing all there was to offer on our trip 🇯🇵. I didn’t like the 4 changes in our tour guides I feel you need to keep the same guides for the whole trip. I understand not all the people go to all the places but it would be nice to have the same group the whole way in the tour.
Terrific tour....
We stopped at choice locations..
David Solanes was our guide and he was amazing, taking considerable care of everyones questions be they related to the tour events, free time or other aspects of the country, culture and travel. He provided excellent contextual overviews and made the experience for everyone fun and most enjoyable. He was great at getting everyone moving through the events without a lot of waiting on others... truly passionate about the tour stops and ensuring all had a great time.
The hotels and locations were convenient and generally quite good.
Very well organised tour from the start to the finish. This was an extremely busy tour with lots of walking. The sites included in this tour were wonderful. The guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Transport on this tour was a little squishy.
It was nice to be in group with mixed origins. The itinerary was chalked out nicely. Pick ups and drop offs were punctual. Almost all guides were good, some excellent and a few so so. And Japan as such is a courteous country ??
The availability of Gluten free food should not be left to guides as it’s too late . If Europamundo takes initiatives snd inform all their vendors/hotels, the availability of GF meals and breaks
Fast will be more appropriate. Europamundo should not take Gluten allergy lightly as it’s too late serves customers from Europe, UK, Australia etc
Guides:
Special mention about your guides is important. Asoaka was very cordial, helping and courteous guide.
Ken was extraordinary. It is important for agency to know about Ken, he is full of praise ??other tourist can take benefit of Kens expertise and please pass it on to him as he himself should know feel that we tourist do appreciate GOLD.
Yes Ken is a GOLD guide, an asset to Europamundo, took care of whole of our group, explained things so well and in a very interesting way. We had a particular problem of Gluten allergy, but Ken’s proactive approach to provide Vandana Gluten free meals till we were with him was amazing. Asoaka also helped with the GF meals., and walked extra miles to help us.
The way both Asoaka and more so Ken helped their co-guides on a bilingual tour was amazing. We never felt that they ignored the English speaking tourists and we could see and appreciate that they covered in Spanish the deficiencies of their co-guides in a very polite and nice way.
I know it would be asking too much snd almost impossible, but we do feel that we get such guides always.
Thank you so much
Atul and Vandana
Tour guides were very punctual. The Geisha tour was not too clear as how the passengers were going to return to hotel. The Holiday Inn gave us 3 rooms in different floors which made it difficult to have access to each other since room keys are accessible only to designated floor.
