Itinerary was fascinating, food and cultural experiences were wonderful, all local people interactions were friendly and hospitable, tour leader was excellent, Morocco is a wonderful country. A bit too much windshield time between sites but this can't be avoided. The hotels, riads, and gites were fun and authentic. Loved this trip.

My overall experience on this tour was absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend it. The guide Abdul, the driver Arabic, and the group truly made the trip exceptional. I would even consider this one of the best trips I?ve ever taken.
That said, my only recommendation is to improve the accommodations. The hotel in Fez was very disappointing, and the location of the hotel in Marrakech could be better. Including a riad experience would significantly enhance the overall experience.

This trip includes all the well know sites you could want. Egypt is absolutely amazing and you won't be disappointed with what you see. Each attraction you visit is unique and an amazement. The accommodation is lovely and food good. Be prepared for early mornings, eg some were 2.30am! Also be prepared for lots of steps, and to fit in a lot in one day. It is exhausting but well worth it, perhaps just book a day or two to recover when you get home!

Wonders of Tunisia
This nine-day tour will take you through the splendid Mediterranean country of Tunisia. The journey starts in Tunisia’s laid-back capital Tunis boasts beautiful Islamic architecture and neighbors the famous ruins of Carthage. Later you will visit Hammamet, famous for its beaches, it is a popular destination for swimming and water sports and is one of the primary tourist destinations in Tunisia. Afterward, you will get a chance to discover Kairouan, one of the great administrative, commercial, religious, and intellectual centers of the country. Then proceed towards Tozeur; the desert town which is a gateway to mountain oasis and desert adventures. Later you will visit Douz, it is an incredible palm oasis hosting over 500,000 palm trees and is often considered the “Gateway to the Sahara” due to its easy access to the world-famous desert. Moving ahead the journey ends in the city of Sousse; a seaside town which is a great spot to relax on the beach and wander around the upscale Port El Kantaoui.

It was my first G-Adventures trip. I had an incredible two weeks traveling Egypt. We had a great group of people lead by a great CEO, and we saw and did so many amazing things. I had a fulfilling experience. So happy I went. I plan on traveling with G-Adventures again in the future.

Highly recommend this trip. A really varied trip showing the best that Morocco has to offer. Marrakech is very manic and a bit 'in your face' but thanks to an excellent tour leader and local guide the group were able to find our way to such hidden gems as the Majorelle Gardens (Yves St Laurent's former gardens) and the 'Secret' Garden. The trip up to the Atlas Mountains and stay in Douar Samra was nothing short of magical, I got to stay in the Tree House while others stayed in the very unusual and individual rooms in the house or annex. Meals were a delight thanks to the marvellous cooking of Rashida the resident cook and the atmospheric use of candles (there is no electricity in the main house) and traditional low level seating and tables. Your luggage is transported the final distance by donkey and there are also ducks and all vegetables are grown in the Douar's vegetable garden. Fabulous views and sunsets and great walking in the mountains. However the gem is absolutely Essaouira. I had never heard of this place before but it is the most delightful and fascinating seaside town. Again great orientation tour from local guide Rashida and plenty of time to enjoy the shopping, sweeping sandy beach, bars, restaurants and busy exciting fishing harbour. Our leader, Abdul, was very informative and accommodating and great fun. Morocco is well worth a visit and I will be back!

Ramez is a really nice and kind person. He is really knowledgeable of the history of Egypt. We went to all of the most important sites and he explained all their history. The drivers and the security are great. We were made to feel safe and cared for. Ramez took into consideration our needs and made sure they were met. We had a lot of fun, and we were left with amazing knowledge about Ancient Egypt. I will probably recommend this tour and our guide to my friends and family.
