Fantastic trip lead by an amazing trio manger. Well worth the cost. Admittedly the west coast was a lot better than that of the east mainly due to the scenery which was present. Special stays in Whistler as a pod hotel and Banff as a chalet with friend made the trip that much more special. The feee time add ones were also really reflective of the areas we visited and appropriately priced. Would highly recommend.

This two week adventure takes you through the magnificent lakes and wildlife parks of Kenya, across Uganda and the Equator, and up into the jungle for some trekking to visit the mountain gorillas and chimpanzees. Starting in Nairobi we first head out to the famous Masai Mara game reserve where we’ll have several included game drives to view the wildlife in one of Africa's most iconic game reserves. We then head north, stopping for more game viewing at Lake Nakuru, before crossing the border into Uganda where our next stop is Jinja, famous as the point where the River Nile flows out of Lake Victoria. There are optional Nile cruises and great white water rafting available here. Next we head north towards the Murchison National Park, home of the spectacular Murchison Falls. We'll enjoy another included game drive here, through one of Uganda's best National Parks. Then we take another jungle trek, this time through the Budongo Central Forest Reserve in search of the local chimpanzees. We follow this adventure with a visit to the mountains, stopping at the beautiful Lake Bunyoni which we use as our base for our gorilla trek deep into the Bwindi Impenetrable forest. This experience is a once in a life time opportunity to get up close and personal with man's closest relative. An optional rhino trekking experience is then available as we head back towards Kenya through the Great Rift Valley and Eldoret, before we arrive back in Nairobi to finish the tour. The tour is available either based mainly on camping in traditional 2-person tents (which we provide together with camp beds), or as an upgraded 'accommodated' version where you sleep in lodges, hotels, or permanent camps (with proper beds & facilities). Enjoyed this trip and all the optional choices. Weather couldn't have been better. Food was good. Free time and tour experiences were nicely balanced. Tour Guide and Bus Driver was great. I was traveling solo and felt safe. The one thing that could have gone better, was accommodations. The Leonardo Hotel in Cardiff and Liverpool was not a good experience. The room was not clean, carpet, window treatments and furniture was old and in bad repair.

This combination tour is perfect for visitors to La Fortuna who want to do it all but have limited time. With this one-day tour, you can visit the most important attractions in the area. The incredible Arenal Volcano is not to be missed, so we start the adventure at the Arenal Volcano National Park to hike a 4 km (2.5 miles) trail called “Lava Slides of 1992” which will take us as close to the mighty Arenal as possible, without risking your safety. From there, if the skies are clear, the views of Arenal Lake, the forest, and the areas devastated by previous eruptions will be impressive. At around 11:30, we will arrive at the second place of interest, La Fortuna Waterfall, famous for its height of 70 meters (230 feet). There you can take a refreshing swim in the cool waters or take pictures of its beauty. Afterwards, at around 1:00 pm we will stop at a restaurant near downtown La Fortuna for a delicious a la carte lunch with 5 options to choose from. Later, at 2:30 pm, we will head to the Arenal Hanging Bridges, to hike a 3.1 km (1.92 miles) trail circuit high above the tree canopy, and across a circuit of 15 impressive hanging and stationary bridges trying to spot the local wildlife. At the end of this full-day tour, we’ll drive you back to your hotel.
