day 1Wild Coast Sun - Nyameni River

Meet at Wild Coast Sun near Port Edward at around 7:00 am for a 9 am departure. Attend a briefing session with our professional guides. All bags will be loaded into the baggage transfer vehicle to be taken to the lodge.
Set off on a 14km hike along the beach past the Mzamba Fossils and through isolated villages inhabited by members of the Pondo community. Reach the Nyameni River at around lunch time. Get the chance to swim in the beautiful pools around the river.
You also have the option of enjoy horseback riding if you want to. If you want to hike instead, then you can travel past beautiful, deserted beaches all the way to your lodge, where a hearty dinner and cold drinks await you.
