day 1Arrive in and explore Quito
Upon your arrival in Quito, you'll be picked up by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Later, visit the old town of Quito. This colonial city was the first site to be declared a UNSECO World Heritage Site in 1978 due to having the best-preserved historic centre in the Americas. You’ll visit the highlights such as La Plaza de la Independencia, La Iglesia de San Francisco and the impressive Basilica de Voto Nacional. Also, learn about Quito’s turbulent history while taking in the sights and sounds of daily Ecuadorian life.
