Imagine waking to the sounds of the wild in Tanzania, where every day brings a new chapter in your safari adventure. This 10-day base camp safari immerses you in the splendor of Arusha, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Eyasi, and Tarangire. From the moment you arrive in Arusha, you’ll be greeted by dramatic landscapes and wildlife encounters, including elephants, giraffes, and elusive leopards in Arusha National Park.

Travel through Lake Manyara’s lush forests, spotting tree-climbing lions and herds of baboons, before pausing at the ethereal Lake Natron—famed for its flamingos and otherworldly colors. The heart of your journey lies in the Serengeti, where sunrise game drives offer the chance to witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration (when in season) and spot big cats, rhinos, and herds of wildebeest traversing the vast plains.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater brimming with wildlife, then venture to Tarangire National Park, celebrated for its iconic baobab trees and thriving elephant populations. Beyond wildlife, this tour opens a window into Tanzania’s cultural tapestry: meet the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, experiencing traditional hunting and gathering firsthand.

day 1 - Arusha Arrival

You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred by private vehicle to Arusha for your dinner and overnight stay. If time allows, you will have time to do walking tour in coffee plantation or option to visit Arusha National park before your big adventure starts.

day 2 - Arusha to Arusha National Park

After breakfast, our professional tour guide/driver will pick you up and drive you to Arusha National Park. This small but beautiful national park is the closest national park to both the famous Arusha “safari town” (30 km) as well as the Kilimanjaro International Airport, thus making it ideal for 1-day safaris or tours.

Not only is the animal life in this park abundant, but it is also one of the most beautiful and topographically varied parks in Tanzania. The park’s three most significant features include the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania’s second highest peak at 4,566m), the notably different colored Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater, which was formed about 15 million years ago.

You will enjoy lunch at the Momela view picnic site and do an exciting morning game drive and afternoon game drive, visiting both the Momela Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater. Wildlife which could be seen includes African buffalos, elephants, hippos, giraffe, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, blue monkeys and sometimes a rare leopard or hyena. Late in the afternoon, we depart back to Arusha.
