This was a great trip and has made me want to explore Greece further. We didn?t have much wind which had a lot of upsides actually, the group we went with were amazing and our captain Erwin was helpful, practical and entertaining. I would recommend bringing a driving licences so more exploration of the islands could be done. I?m not sure it would be a comfortable trip if you had to share a tiny cabin with a stranger, or didn?t like swimming, but my partner and I had an awesome time. Thanks all!

This Greece Islands sailing adventure was so memorable! It exceeded all of our expectations, every day sailing to explore a different island and experience local culture and food as well as gain knowledge about the history and culture of the region. Our skipper CEO Mack was highly knowledgeable about the region and very passionate about sailing as well as sharing his knowledge and providing opportunities for each of us to learn and experience it for ourselves. Our only recommendation is for G Adventures to include more information about the need to pay in cash at restaurants and establishments in the Greek islands (Euros). We thought we would be using our credit card for dinners but learned we really needed to have cash instead.

Wonderful trip with our guide Lisa. The itinerary was good, but many long bus rides-which is necessary to cover mainland Greece and get in as much as we did in 7 full days. Would have loved to have an overnight stay in Nafplio. Enjoyed staying in hotels within walking distance to the towns-made it really easy to just go during free times. The dinner buffets at the hotels were not my favorite but understand why since a couple nights we were getting into the hotels late due to traveling. Kalabaka and Meteora were a highlight for me. The Olive Farm and Cooking night were wonderful. Both the Santorini and Mykonos stays were wonderful. The optional catamaran excursion on Santorini was great.
The camaraderie, leadership and site were all outstanding. For me it is impossible to single out a single event. Overall great fun. Really helpful in putting early Christianity into perspective.
Begin with a night in Athens, once the heart of Ancient Greece, a powerful civilization and empire. You will embark the cruise from here and sail towards Mykonos, and island with many beautiful beaches and world class entertainment. Sail to Türkiye and visit Kusadasi, a beach resort town on Türkiye’s western Aegean coast. The seafront promenade, marina and harbor are all lined with hotels and restaurants to greet visitors. Visit the significant Christian pilgrimage site of Patmos; its Cave of the Apocalypse is where John of Paramos is said to have written the Book of Revelations. In Rhodes and Heraklion, see ancient ruins and archaeological sites that date back to a time of medieval towns and fortresses.
