Mykonos Tours in May 2026

The pace of the trip was perfect. We got to explore the historical cities of Greece while also having plenty of time to relax and enjoy the islands. Sitting by the sea in Mykonos with a coffee in hand was truly unforgettable. Our guide, Despina, patiently answered all of our questions and was incredibly knowledgeable. Just talking with her was a pleasure in itself. The hotels were clean, and the Greek food was much more varied and delicious than I had expected. The tavernas in Athens, in particular, were a wonderful surprise for me.

My favorite stop was Meteora; it felt like stepping into a dream. Cruise part waz amazing. The transfers were smooth, and everything felt well-organized without being rushed. It was one of those trips where everything just felt right.

I wasn’t entirely sure how a tour combining both the mainland and islands would turn out, but Eskapas nailed it. Olympia and Delphi were absolute standouts, full of history and charm, while Mykonos gave us that perfect breather after several action-packed days. Our guide knew the ins and outs of every site and made sure we got the best experience at each stop. One thing I really appreciated was how central the hotels were, making it super easy to explore during the free time we had. Definitely a trip that kept me engaged and relaxed in equal measure!

Taking this tour across Greece’s mainland and islands was such a rich and layered experience. Each day had its own flavor, blending history, culture, and just enough downtime to take it all in. Our guide, Stelio, was amazing at sharing stories that brought Greek mythology and history into each place we visited, and I felt genuinely connected to each site—Delphi and Meteora especially were something else. The hotels were comfortable and conveniently placed, which made it easy to enjoy some solo exploration. I have to give a nod to Alex from Eskapas for his seamless organization; everything felt thought-out from start to finish. Honestly, it’s rare to travel without a hitch, but this trip managed it, and I’m really glad I chose Eskapas.

The islands were amazing! Each has its own beauty, but I loved Crete because there is so much to do and visit. The people who organized the trip were very nice and the pick up and drop off was on time. In Athens and Mykonos, we arrived 20-30 minutes before the pick-up time. The local representatives were very kind and made us feel welcome. The hotel was nice and comfortable, but the hotel in Santorini did not live up to our expectations. There was a plumbing problem in the bathroom and the room smelled very bad. The shower was tiny. Some suggestions for further improvement: Please provide more information on how to know when the ferry will arrive. Mykonos is so chaotic and the ferry loading so fast was stressful. We almost got the wrong ferry and there are very few people at the port who can provide information. Overall we had a great time. I am always grateful for your help!

This was an unforgettable adventure. The scenery, local foods and good company made for a fantastic holiday. We have no regrets for choosing this package. My wife and myself will definitely be using G- Adventures in the future.
