We enjoyed our tour of Greece in spite of the rain and cold weather. We were lucky in some days when we visited beautiful places without the rain. There were lots of tiring walks which we survived. We loved our tour specially of Athens & Mt. Meteora. Our tour guide George was very kind, knowledgeable and caring and made our tour unforgettable. Evia is an amazing island, very green and lush and the walking was varied. I was pleased by the amount of history and local knowledge imparted by the guides. The butterflies, flowers, tortoises and slow worms interested me a lot. The hotel provided a very comfortable base with the sea, tavernas and sea front giving evening entertainment. This is a great mix of moderately challenging walking with great food, wonderful history and interesting nature. I would heartily reccommend this holliday

The tour included many nice stops. The tour guide was very young and inexperienced, however, he made the tour enjoyable. The stop at Elvas was awful. The town was vacant and nothing was open for dinner. We had to eat at the hotel but they weren’t prepared to feed the entire tour group. That was poor planning! The hotel was beautiful but my room overlooked what looked like a slum with barking dogs all night. My favorite spot was Peñíscola where I would have like to spend more time. Also would have liked more shopping time alotted. Otherwise the trip was very nice and I would recommend it.

Tour of Acropolis was excellent but felt that there were other sites in Athens which should have been included. The Natiional Archaelogy Museum is a treasure and should have been a basis for all of the sites we visited all over Greece.. It was a wekl-planned itinerary which allowed us to see a wealth of famous historical sites as well as showing us some contemporary “slices of life”. Good tour director, site guides and driver as well as wuality a commodations, coach and meals.

Enjoyed the tour however, our experience at the airport in Paris and Nice was not positive. We were dropped off at the wrong terminal. We had more than enough time to make our flight back to LAX but due to the lack of work ethic of the Air France personnel, we just made the flight. In addition to the incompetence of the Air France personnel, we also experienced airport personnel that were very rude and not helpful.
