Overall excellent trip. Weather helped as was excellent. Able to walk all high passes and enjoy fantastic views. Accommodation was basic but OK, food overall was good. Never went hungry. Plenty of opportunity to stop and take photos, never felt rushed.

Completing the Portuguese Camino with luggage transfers, accommodation and itinerary organised made the self-guided hike even more enjoyable. The standard of hotels and rural B&B's was excellent. Most of the accommodation in Portugal had swimming pools which at the end of a hot walk was bliss. The initial communication when booking the trip was great and was always kept up to date. Would highly recommend this company and would use them again.

I couldn't have organized a trip like this myself. Usually I was someone who organized the logistics for her own travel but using G Adventures meant that I didn't have to worry about booking hostels or figuring out public transportation. Great trip! Hiking was challenging, but in a good way, and we (51, 50, and 11-year old) all felt tired but proud of ourselves each night when we reached our destination. Very happy to have all the logistics taken care of by our guide, and to have the donkeys lighten our load. Our son says we should do it again!
