A great way to see Sicily away from the main tourist areas. There was some mud, some territorial dogs to get past and some stiff climbs often at the end of the day to hill towns. But our hosts and other people we met were very welcoming, the food was great and the scenery made the exertion worthwhile. We recommend this walk.

Overall, the Conques to Cahors trip was fabulous with great accommodation and amazing hosts. However, there were a few little details that were not up to the same standard. Neither of us could get the navigation on the Guido app to work without constant errors and it was missing critical information, such as potable water fountains, cafes and supermarkets. I provided dietary information upon booking that I cannot eat pork, but was served pork for dinner on two occasions (not sure if that is just French hospitality or the information was not provided to the hosts). And our itinerary did not end up being as listed on the website, we had one day that was only 6.5kms and another day that was 28.5kms, which resulted in a very long day of walking.

Having worked with them on a trip in Northern Italy last year, I was confident they would deliver a great experience. They did. Excellent experience, highly recommended. I did the TMB 10 day hike with a small group of 7 people on 10th October 2025. Every day a new adventure with news landscapes, a new refuge, new cuisine. Our guide Madeleine was great fun, super informative and friendly. The weather was perfect! A bit of rain in day 1 but otherwise good.
