The flights from and to Istanbul that we generally use are listed below. However, this may vary due to availability reasons.
From Istanbul: Departure between 07:00 am & 07:30 am, landing in Izmir between 08:00 am & 08:30 am.
From Cappadocia: Departure between 19:00 to 21:30 and landing in Istanbul between 20:30 & 23:00.
La Gomera is a lovely unspoilt island and it was great to walk in the variety of landscapes from the Cloud Forest in the mountainous centre, through Woods and the drier landscapes at the coast. The Hotel was good - San Sebastian is a friendly chilled place to stay. Good food and wine at the local restaurants. Donal was a great guide - very informative -all round it was a lovely relaxing week.

We had a fantastic trip to Egypt. I am a single mum with a 10 and 12 year old. We were in a very small group with just one other family and we had a brilliant time. Mohammed, the group leader was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and fun and made everything run smoothly, even the bits that didn’t (don’t expect the train to be on time, however flashy the new station). He was fantastic with the kids and generous with his experience of all aspects of Egyptian life.
The trip is pretty full on but there is downtime built in. We love Egypt and will definitely go back. We’ll also definitely do another holiday with explore. For me, being on my own with the kids, the group meant I got some downtime and everything being so well organised meant I felt like I got a holiday as well! As an added bonus it was no more expensive to have two rooms at the hotels!
