I would highly recommend this trip. It covered all the interesting areas in Puglia. Our guide Gabriele was fantastic, he went over and beyond what was expected, he made the trip entertaining and enjoyable for everyone with his stories and knowledge of Italian culture. Everyone in our group got along well which helped to make the trip a pleasure. From the food, drinks, to the execution of our activities, it was all a memorable experience. I took the "Reverse Puglia" trip June 18 to 25, 2024. It was a great trip and overview of Puglia. We stayed in trulias in Alberobello and a cave room in Matera. Everything about the grip was perfect, the pace, the places we visited, the food and local guides. However the best part of the trip was Gabriele the tour guide. He took care of everyone and was funny, intelligent, gracious and a pure delight. He is what made the trip so special and memorable, a philosopher that showed us Puglia.
We had the best time on the Greek Caique Cruise. The itinerary was fantastic and Thanos knew everything and everyone. We swam off the boat every day and when we docked in various ports Thanos was able to point us to the best places to go, organise taxis for us if necessary and in the evening recommend the best restaurants.

Tour leader was first rate, best I have ever had on any tour.
Hotels one - Casa Rural de Los Camellos, Aguimes. Beautiful characterful buildings and interior courtyard, breakfast OK, staff welcoming and responsive, aircon unreliable.
Hotel two - La Aldea suites, La Aldea. Quality modern hotel with well appointed rooms and a pool, superior breakfast, staff welcoming and responsive.
Walking was excellent. Two particularly spectacular days in the pine forested areas (to Roque Nublo and down from P. de Las Nieves). Other days held some interest and a few little surprises.
Hair pin bends from start to finish on any journey across the island interior, but all adds to the experience.

Excellent trip in general. Only negative points for me were that some accommodation was a little tired, the mosque is destroyed but still on the agenda, the argon oil sales trip was a waste of time and there could have been less driving. But many more positives than negatives
