It had sheer walls that glowed orange in the sun and a stillness that felt almost sacred. The camel ride to our desert camp in Merzouga was unforgettable. Watching the sun dip below the dunes, then sharing dinner and music under the stars with fellow travelers made for a night I’ll always remember.
