Begin your journey in Egypt, where the Giza pyramids, Valley of the Kings, and a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor reveal millennia of history. Transition to Morocco and immerse yourself in the vibrant streets of Casablanca, the imperial cities of Rabat, Fes, Meknes, and Marrakech, and the Roman ruins of Volubilis.

day 1 - Arrival in Cairo, Welcome to Egypt

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and spend your free time as you please.

day 2 - Cairo, Memphis & Giza Pyramid Complex

Today, you will visit Memphis, located about 20 km south of Cairo, which was the ancient capital of the Old Kingdom and played an important role in Egyptian history.

Take the tour of this open-air museum, where you can still find some of the ancient city's remaining wonders, including the magnificent fallen colossal limestone statue of Ramses II. Not far away is the Saqqara necropolis, housing the oldest Stepped Pyramid of Djoser.

Later, proceed to the pyramid complex at Giza, the highlight of today's tour. Marvel at the famous Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with the Great Sphinx lying on the east side of the complex.

day 3 - Cairo, Egyptian Museum & Old Cairo Discovery

Spend the morning at the Egyptian Museum in the downtown area to gain a comprehensive understanding of ancient Egyptian history through its extensive collections.

In the afternoon, walk around the medieval Citadel of Saladin and visit the Mosque of Muhammad Ali inside. From here, you can also get a grand view of the city.

Finish the journey by browsing and shopping at the Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

day 4 - Cairo - Aswan, Embark on a Nile River Cruise

Wake up early to catch your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, meet your Egyptologist to start the Aswan tour, visiting the High Dam and the Temple of Philae. Next, transfer to your Nile cruise for check-in, which will be followed by lunch.

In the afternoon, have fun on a traditional Felucca sailing around the islands of Aswan.

day 5 - Nile River Cruise

Enjoy a leisurely morning on the sun deck as the boat sails toward Kom Ombo. Disembark for the tour of the Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique Graeco-Roman temple dedicated to the god Haroesis on one side and Sobek on the other.

Continue sailing to Edfu, passing through the beautiful scenery of the Nile valley along the way. Take a tour the Temple of Edfu, also known as the Temple of Horus, which is the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt and provides an excellent idea of how the temple once looked.

day 6 - Nile River Cruise

The boat will arrive in Luxor early in the morning. Breakfast on board, followed by an exploration of the west bank.

Next, you will explore three tombs of the ancient Pharaohs inside the Valley of the Kings, tour the renovated Funerary Temple of Hatshepsut, and take photos with the two massive Colossi of Memnon.

day 7 - End of Nile Cruise, Luxor - Cairo

Disembark from the boat and finish your Luxor tour with visits to the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. They are the two primary temples on the east bank linked by a two-kilometer-long Avenue of the Sphinx.

After the tour, fly to Cairo and then take a transfer to your hotel for the night.

day 8 - Cairo - Casablanca, Depart from Egypt for Morocco

Spend some free time in morning until your representative picks you up at the appointed time and transfers you to the airport for your flight to Casablanca, Morocco.

Upon arrival in Casablanca, meet your driver who will transfer you to your hotel. Later in the day, visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque looking out to the Atlantic Ocean.

day 9 - Casablanca - Fez, Tour Rabat En-route

Drive towards Fez in the morning. En route, stop in Rabat, Morocco's political and administrative capital since its independence in 1956. The tour in Rabat includes the Royal Mausoleum, Hassan Tower, and the medieval fortress of Oudayas.

You will reach Fez late in the day. Once you have check in to your hotel, you are free to spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring Morocco's spiritual capital on your own.

day 10 - Fez, Get Lost in Maze-like Medina

Follow your guide to explore the maze-like Fes Medina, which is filled with historical buildings and stooped alleys lined with aromatic food stands and time-honored workshops.

Visit the King's Palace, tanneries, and potters in the old town with the guide sharing in detail about the city's history and the local's daily life.

You will have the afternoon to yourself to do more exploration or go shopping.

day 11 - Fez, Day Excursion to Volubilis & Meknes

Explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis outside of Fez. As you wander around the extensive ruins with superb mosaic tiles, it is not difficult to imagine that this was once a thriving city over a thousand years ago.

Visit nearby Moulay Idriss, a holy city famous for the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss I, the founder of Morocco and descendant of Prophet Muhammad.

Following lunch, your driver-guide will take you on a tour of Meknes before returning to Fes for the night.

day 12 - Fez - Marrakech

After breakfast, take a 6-hour scenic drive toward Marrakech. On arrival, check in to your hotel and have some time to explore on your own or relax. Why not find a quiet rooftop restaurant overlooking the vibrant square of Jemaa el-Fnaa?

day 13 - Marrakech City Sightseeing

The Medina of Marrakech, surrounded by defensive ramparts built in the 12th century, tells the story of the Islamic world for a thousand years. Step inside the tiny and delicate Bahia Palace to experience the 19th-century opulence of Moroccan aristocratic families. Stroll around the Saadian Tombs while learning about the royal family behind the tombs. Admire the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque with a 70-meter-high minaret from its gardens. Finally, take some time at the Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and the nearby souk to browse and shop.

day 14 - Marrakech - Casablanca

Enjoy a free morning to browse and shop in the old medina. Your driver will take you back to Casablanca in the afternoon.
