An excellent trip. The pace of the trip is perfect. A week flew by and we felt we had been all over the Puglia region. So much to do and see in such a short space of time and yet we managed to relax and get some free time in too. Loved this tour. Staying in Matera in the cave was a highlight and also staying in the Trulli house in Alberobello. Could have done without the farm visit, it felt like it was just filling in time. Would have preferred to visit Monopoli or similar. Same with the wine tasting. I think it’s such a waste to start the tour at 6pm, have a city tour in the dark then dinner. Much too late. Itinerary simply said meet at 6pm for welcome meeting then enjoy dinner with the group. Nothing about 2 hour walking tour of Bari. We already explored Bari on our own during the day because of how the itinerary was written. Otherwise I enjoyed it and would recommend.
