Lecce Tours and Trips

My trip to Puglia with Explore was wonderful! Each town we visited was beautiful and special. Sleeping in a cave in Matera and trulli house in Alberobello were truly unique experiences. Our guide, Antongiulio, was excellent! He was knowledgeable, organized and thoughtful. He picked the most wonderful restaurants each night, which added to the experience. Thank you, Explore, for another great trip!

This tour was great because we stayed in some unusual accommodation in beautiful old towns. The pace was just right with time allowed to wander the sights on your own. The tour leader Anton was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and really friendly. He was always very considerate to all the members of the group particularly in the heat. The whole holiday went very smoothly and was particularly good this time because of the other members of the group. We all had a great time.

It’s been 1 year since the first week of June, 2025 when my wife and I did the 1-week cycling of the Puglia region beginning in the city/town of Matera (which is in the Basilicata region, right on the border of the Puglia region). We had such an amazing time exploring the back country roads and many small quaint towns the Puglia region offers. So many memorable stops along the way including caffe, gelato, walks in town squares (piazza). The group of 15 riders plus Emanuele (local tour guide) and Leonardo (driver/assistant) were all great people to spend a vacation with.

Wonderful trip - biking through back roads and cycle paths was easy with use of the app. My first cycle trip was made easy with everything they provided to prepare. Cannot wait to do another trip!!!!!

Our first trip with them (Cycle Puglia) was amazing. From the wonderful route they chose - which keeps you mostly on quieter back roads or cycle paths, to the great hotels and the delightful add-on (Matera - a must do, and go for 2 days not 1 like we did). The app was very easy to use - even when we faced some unexpected detours (which just added a dash of adventure to the trip).

They provided excellent information well before the cycle holiday. I knew how to prepare for cycling, what to pack and what to expect each day. The cycle app was so useful. The e-bike was sturdy and the luggage delivery went smoothly. The accommodation was excellent with a variety of smaller, local B&Bs as well as some larger hotels.
