See the rhinos, lions, leopards, buffalo, and 450 species of birds as you tour. Next stop is the world famous David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage from 11:00AM – 12:00PM to meet a herd of baby elephants and learn about the work done to rescue them from poachers. The orphanage successfully raises milk-dependent baby elephant and rhino orphans. During your hour there, the baby elephants will be brought out to play and feed as you watch them from behind a rope. You will then be driven to the Giraffe Center to get up close and personal with Rothschild giraffes, Africa's tallest mammals. After breakfast depart from your Nairobi hotel at 7:00 AM and drive to Hell's Gate National Park with stops at several view points to marvel at the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment. Hell’s Gate is one of Kenya's smaller national parks, which can be explored on foot or on a bicycle. Arrive at the gate of Hell's Gate around mid-morning and start the bike tour for two hours within the park. You also have the option to drive instead of cycling. Animals that can be seen here include Bushbucks, Dikdiks, Giraffes, Gazelles, Gnus, Hartebeests, Impalas, Klipspringers, Buffaloes, Hyraxes, Zebras, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongooses, Baboons, Monkeys and Porcupines amongst others.
