The trip entailed an easy 10km walk in the local national park situated in the foothills of Kathmandu. The drive to the start of our trek was only 1hour away, but it was a perfect way to escape to the countryside from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu town. The campsite was perfectly set up and ready for our arrival, tents with beds and lighting and with a restaurant and bar which served the freshest food for lunch and then a lovely bbq in the evening. In the morning we had a few snowy mountains to greet us for breakfast and then after a short walk to the local village, we were then served lunch before out transport took us back down to Kathmandu.
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a peaceful walk on this day hiking trip to Nagarkot. This gentle hike is suitable for the entire family!
We'll drive from Kathmandu to Sankhu, an ancient Newar and religious town. This is where we'll begin the Nagarkot hike. After crossing the river, the trail leads you through terraced rice fields before heading through dense woods. Take a rest in Kattike and then continue walking on a gradual uphill trail until you reach to Nagarkot.
The popular tourist hill of Nagarkot offers a fabulous view of Everest, Langtang and Gaurishanker region peaks. Stay an extra day if you choose, and enjoy the brilliant sunrise view over the Himalayas. The 1-day Nagarkot Hike ends at the hill before heading back to Kathmandu by vehicle.
Discover the enchanting landscapes and rich culture of the Langtang and Helambu regions, easily accessible via land transport, eliminating the uncertainties of air travel. Within these pristine regions lies the Langtang National Park, boasting a vast valley, the sacred Gosainkunda Lake, and the serene Kyanjin Gompa Monastery, all presided over by the towering Langtang Lirung at 7,227 meters.
Helambu, renowned for its succulent apples and monasteries, is a cultural gem where your journey begins from the Lauribina Pass, descending towards the Melamchi Valley. Immerse yourself in authentic Nepali culture amidst the highland villages of Helambu.
The Langtang Helambu Trek seamlessly blends the captivating landscapes of Langtang, Helambu, and Gosainkund, located north of Kathmandu. This trek offers a unique fusion of small peak climbing, immersive rural village experiences, and encounters with majestic glaciers at lower elevations, creating the ideal adventure for those seeking thrilling experiences and cultural immersion.
Gosainkunda, the holy alpine freshwater lake situated at an elevation of 4,300 meters, holds profound significance for thousands of Hindu pilgrims who converge during the full moon festival in August. This sacred site also holds a special place in the hearts of Buddhists, making it a place of spiritual reverence and natural beauty.

They are very professional. I was there in Kathmandu for my 2 week round trip to Mt.Everest trekking. Though they seem to be start up but their service is very professional and excellent. It was my short spring tour but sweet , Honestly it was like heaven on earth. But I will be definitely be back for long visit this summer with my family.
My friend and I had an absolutely incredible time on the Chisapani Nagarkot 3-day hike with this local travel specialist. It was the highlight of our 2 week trip to India and Nepal. (We are two women in our 30s from the US.) Everyone at this agency is lovely and they always answered my questions quickly and professionally. Madan and Kumar were wonderful, friendly, and informative as our guide and porter. We went in early September 2023, and I was worried that it would be too wet and rainy at that time of year, but it wasn't an issue (I do recommend wearing waterproof hiking boots though). The nature was incredible and the views were spectacular (that’s an understatement!). We were tired after each day of hiking and the tea houses were perfect places to appreciate the view and rest after each day. Highly recommended!
The Mardi Himal Trek in the Annapurna region is a perfect option for travelers looking for a new trekking adventure! This trek route has it all: diversity in the atmosphere, cultural highlights and great views of Annapurna Himalayas. Although the route officially opened only less than five years ago, it has received very positive reviews from trekkers. Comparatively short to other Himalayan treks, on this route, we will visit forests, base camps, and local tea houses where we will find overnight accommodation.
The trek begins from scenic Pokhara lake city, where we will drive to Kande, the starting point of our hike. From there onwards immerse into beautiful walks along the culturally rich Gurung villages. During the spring season, enjoy beautiful views of rhododendrons that bloom perfectly which can be just another reason to embark on this adventure.
Stay at forest camp, low camp and high camp, where you can capture the best of sunrise and sunset views of Mardi Himal, Fishtail, and other surrounding peaks. We’ll arrive at the western side of Mardi Himal base camp, which is located at an elevation of 4500m, after which we hike back to Pokhara and finally to Kathmandu, concluding our Mardi Himal Trek.

Enjoy the grandest journey in the land of the Himalayas with our 16-day, guided trek to Mount Everest Base Camp. Your adventure to the base camp begins with a rather scary flight to the mountain airstrip of Lukla, at 2,800m elevation, and passes through the picturesque Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar to reach Gorakshep.
The high point of this journey is the ascent of Kala Patthar (5,500m) from where you can soak up stupendous views of Mount Everest and its surrounding peaks. You will spend most of the trek above the elevation of 3,000 meters in Khumbu and Imja valleys, whose skyline is dominated by the massive peaks of the Eastern Himalayas.
Along the way, you will get the chance to enjoy the culture of the Sherpa people, see ancient monasteries and learn how Lamaistic Buddhism influences the Sherpa life. Beautiful, multi-coloured prayer flags and prayer wheels along with intricately carved mani stones line every hilltop along the route.
Travellers who are physically fit and have a sound health can book this adventure. Some experience in high-altitude treks is preferred. For more experienced hikers who wish to take up the challenge, we suggest an Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes trek.
