The Ruby Valley is one of the least visited trekkings I have done so far. No surprise that we were very warm welcomed in every village and took part of the local life including simple but clean homestays and delicious, freshly cooked nepaly meals. Thanks to our 2 guides Pemba Sherpa and Saujan Tamang (from the Ruby Valley) who did a great job and we had a great time. A big thanks two our Nepali friends. We had this great trek "LUMBA SUMBA TREK" situated between the Kanchenjunga and Makalu region of Taplejung District, the trekking was a bit unique with less crowded travelers and trekkers which made the trekking more smooth and convenient for the every day settlement and activities. We encountered the most untouched natural places of this trek with beautiful flora and fauna,Himalayas, landescapes, routes,warm hearted local people, beautiful rhododendron's covered mountains, animals like:Yak, musk deer, Red panda which made our trekking very much enjoyable.So this trek last point was Olangchula gola which located between the boarder of Nepal and Tibet and on our last day we enjoyed with some local brew called "CHHANG" and Local meat to celebrate our Succes Trek of Lumba Sumba,our team guide Pasang was very helpful guys with bright smile in his cheek, very experienced guide and friendly during the trek which help us to be more relax during the trek.

Nagurjun Hike is a day program with a hike to the nearby Nagarjun hill located 23 km north-west of Kathmandu city. Nagarjun hill is at 6300 feet above the sea-level and this program is one of the popular day hikes around Kathmandu Valley.
The hike is through Shivapuri National Park which has abundant flora and faunas. Upon reaching the top, the summit provides majestic panorama view of the entire Kathmandu Valley including the snow-capped mountains like Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal and other majestic Himalayan peaks.
Any age groups can participate in this and it gives a nice approach to what it’s like to be hiking in the Himalayan region, albeit much closer to Kathmandu City, compared with e.g. a trek to Annapurna Circuit.

This 10 Days River Rafting Tour starts and ends in Kathmandu. For a detailed itinerary we kindly refer to the Itinerary tab. All rafting will take place in SunKoshi (the river of gold), one of Nepal's best rivers for river rafting. Day 1 and Day 10 will be spent on transport to/from Kathmandu, and the other 8 days will be spent river rafting, enjoying nature, playing games, camping at night - or in short, having a blast!
Running the gigantic waves and the intense yet predictable rapids of the crystal clear Sunkoshi river gives you more than just an adrenaline rush; it makes you feel something which can’t be simply expressed with words, and hence, you gotta try it!
The starting point of the 270 kilometers long river adventure is Dolalghat or Roshi Khola (Nepalthok), which is a 3-hour drive from Kathmandu valley, and the take out point, or end point at Day 10, is Chatara, which is a 16-hour drive from Kathmandu.
From straightforward waves to powerful and intense ones, the rapid of the river changes from class 3 to class 4 as you move further down the river. We will therefore start with easy rapids and slowly get you on top of how to handle bigger rapids.

More than a simple trip, our fifteen days in Nepal and Tibet were an unforgettable experience and a wonderful discovery. A very big thank you goes to this local tour operator and its Managing Director, Mr. Kaum Bahadur Subedi, who provided us with expert drivers (absolutely essential on the roads of Nepal) and guides with great expertise and experience. I want to especially mention Rem Raj Gurung who introduced us to the wonderful temples of Kathmandu, now all restored after the 2015 earthquake. A very useful exercise for me also who had visited those temples in the past.
Even more exciting was traveling across the Tibetan plateau. We entered from the border with Nepal - which in itself is an adventure - and we traveled the long way that leads to Lasha, crossing a powerful and unforgettable landscape. Along the plateau we had the Himalayas on the right with its snowy peaks (we also went to admire the north face of Everest with a half-day detour) and on the left another long chain of mountains that outlined a landscape that is hard to find the words to describe.
And then the unforgettable discovery for me, thanks to the guide that Mr Kaum made available to us for Tibet, a profound expert on the religiosity of the Tibetans. The discovery of a people who still live in a deep connection with their past and traditions: in religion, in clothing, in language. But I also found a genuine willingness towards foreigners. And we were among the few Westerners to visit the country.
We also have a beautiful memory of Lasha, a modern city that lives with a past whose strength still seems very alive.
