Pickup time from your hotel is at around 9:00am. Drive about 2.5 hours to arrive at the ticket office of Longji Rice Terraces Scenic Area. Continue to the middle of the mountain, where the entrance of the Ping’an Minority village is located, take a trolley car to the top viewing platform of the Longji Rice Terraces famous as “Nine Dragons and Five Tigers”. Then walk along the rice terraces to another sightseeing named “Seven Stars Accompany Moon”.
Continue to walking down into the minority village and lunch rest.
Walk back to our car, drive back to Guilin, enroute, visit another Minority Village famous as “Long hair Yao Village”. Drive back to hotel in Guilin at about 18:00.
Before back to hotel, you are suggested to visit the Reed Flute Cave(1hr) with numerous stalactites and stalagmites in unique shapes and lightened up by artificial colorful light inside.
You are suggested to experience the Night Cruise in Four Lakes around the Guilin City in the evening, which lasts for 1hr and offers the unique night city and lakes‘ view lightened by the colorful lights behind trees, bridges, buildings. You could also have chance to see the fishermen fishing with their cormorants in the third lake-Osmanthus Lake.

The essence of Guilin tour was absolutely fantastic, and our guide Lily made it truly unforgettable. She is warm, knowledgeable, takes care of everything and responded to all questions and wishes. I like free and easy trips. But for some local detailed arrangements related to itinerary/activities in various countries, it can be rather challenging. My trip to Yangtze River cruise and travel between Chongqing and Yichang involved details that I am not familiar. I went on a 5d/4n Yangtze River cruise from Yichang to Chongqing. The cruise ship was relatively new and the cabin was clean and comfortable. There was enough food selection to cater for everyone’s tastes. The crew members were very helpful and polite, one (Cindy) even helped me get the food for every meal. There were also enough activities on board like movies, spa etc if one opted out of land excursions. The land excursions were very enjoyable. Despite my temporary restricted mobility, I was assisted in getting on and off the ship and when the wheelchair was required, the staff members offered to help in pushing it. Thalia from AOT had been exceptionally helpful, advising me on which land excursion was not suitable for me and even sent a requested foldable stool to the hotel for my use in the shower on our extended 2-day stay in Chongqing post cruise. Overall, this cruise had been a very good and pleasant experience for me.
