Our representative shall pick you from your hotel in Cairo and take you to attend the show Light & Sound in the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. The show narrates the story of the Ancient Egyptians. It begins with the story of the Sphinx, the vigilant protector of the city of the dead for more than 5000 years, and proceeds to describe the history of building the pyramids, relating to well-heard stories of famous Egyptian pharaohs such as Thutmose IV, Akhenaton, Nefertari, and Tutankhamun. Note: This is one of our Overland Adventures which are run on a participatory basis – you’ll be involved in the day to day running of the trip and have fun helping to cook for the group. Expect to sometimes get dusty and dishevelled and not to be able to have hot showers every night. Groups of up to 24 people are led by our crew of two.

This comprehensive 20-day Everest Gokyo Lakes Trek is a remarkable adventure through the breathtaking landscapes of the Himalayas, offering a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural immersion, and physical challenge. The journey commences with a scenic flight to Lukla, followed by a trek through charming Sherpa villages, including Phakding and the vibrant Namche Bazaar, allowing you to acclimatize to the high altitude and experience the local way of life.

As flights between Lukla and Kathmandu can at times be delayed or cancelled due to weather conditions, we recommend adding at least 1 extra night post-tour in Kathmandu.
