We had a blast going to EBC base camp last september. Me and friends booked our trip via this local travel specialist and they organized the whole trip so well. Going valley in the morning over 4000m was severe coldness in winter because no sunshine due to surrounding mountains and wind. (Dingboche to Lobche)
It might be better to add 1 more layer, considering the weather.
Since a bit earlier than year end holiday, I could spend more quiet time.
On the way to back, I met more people who were going up.
Mr Bibek, the guide was knowledgeable and explained the mountains.
He was good advisor also for health conditions but you should know yourself first.

The trek was excellent although tough in the short timescale but I wanted the challenge. For others make sure youre happy with the non acclimatisation days, I had the full information and I chose to take the shorter trek. Off season in January although cold was a great time to trek as far less people on the trail as I hear spring time is just to hectic. Even in the winter you get warm during the daytime treking.
