We enjoyed every aspect of our holiday. The accommodation was very comfortable, Christina was a wonderful host. The walking was outstanding, with great views over the Pinhao and Douro valleys.

Had a wonderful time on the Remote Coastal Trails tour in Portugal. Blessed with good weather, we enjoyed stunning coastal walks guided by Ester who did an outstanding job looking after the two of us, generously sharing her knowledge of the local areas and her interests keeping us informed and entertained.
The hotel was really good and I loved Sagres. Great atmosphere and lots and lots of great places to eat.

Explore is getting worse and worse regarding customer service. If it wasn't for trips offered and mostly excellent tour leaders, would never recommend to friends. One option to better relationship would be to refund single supplement to anyone who is obviously not going to be paired off on a tour where all couples or different sex. Explore should be more considerate considering the profit margin on solo travel.

This holiday was made extra special for us by the professionalism and kindness of the Headwater reps - Tony & Ludmilla. The one day when we got soaked, they came to our rescue and collected us early with no no fuss whatsoever. Apart from that one day the weather was kind and the walks spectacular
The trip was very well planned, all the accommodations, luggage transfer, meals and GPx tracks were exactly as stated in the itinerary. It's nice to have such a stress free trip given all the different cities and towns we hiked too.

UTracks provided the perfect way for my husband and I to walk a lovely part of the Portuguese Camino from Porto to Tui just for a week. The Camino isn’t a luxury vacation, it has a more humble history, and in the past we walked independently, staying in albergues in Spain, with no set daily itinerary on our way to Santiago de Compostela. This time we wanted to walk just a portion of the Portuguese road, with UTracks to do the groundwork and make our reservations for us. The inns and homes chosen to stay in all had charm and convenience and were, without exception, clean and run by friendly people. The route through Northern Portugal is beautiful, and the chosen itinerary alternated between challenging and easy days in order to let us enjoy the charming towns along the way. UTracks organised a great trip on this section of the Camino however the track is poorly signed and even with a good map app, getting lost seemed to be a daily occurrence. The signage is not the responsibility of UTracks but in my view if signage could be improved, it would make for a more enjoyable trip. After Porto, the signage was good.
