Two-day Mont Saint-Michel, D-Day & Three Castles - Winter tours
This is a two-day private guided trip from Paris to Loire Valley and Normandy, where we will explore, art, history and culture. Highlights of the trip include a guided tour of three top castles in Loire Valley (Chateau de Chambord, Royal Chateau d’Amboise, and Chateau Chenonceau); Mont Saint-Michel Abbey; three D-Day landing beaches; Normandy American Cemetery; and Omaha Beach Signal Monument.
With this trip, visitors can expect to gain insights into French art, architecture, culture, and history. In Normandy, the tour will focus more on the World War II history, with visits to D-Day landing beaches and World War II sites, memorials, and museums.
This is a trip designed for a small group not exceeding seven people, offering an intimate and relaxed setting as the traveling party explore historical castles and sites. Spend one night in Normandy, preferably in a 3* or 4* hotel located close to Mont Saint-Michel, and travel in a comfortable vehicle (a Mercedes E220 business class car for up to 2-3 persons, or Mercedes minivan for 3-7 persons).
