Walking from inn to inn was epic and it was really nice to end in Dublin. The logistics were seamless. My only criticism is that one of the days was spent walking through a large clear cut area, which was interesting but not especially beautiful.
We enjoyed every aspect of our holiday. The accommodation was very comfortable, Christina was a wonderful host. The walking was outstanding, with great views over the Pinhao and Douro valleys.
A gorgeous corner of France to explore at walking pace. Many of the paths were timeless and the views spectacular. All luggage and personal transfers worked smoothly.

Discover Tuscany’s hidden corners with the "Via Francigena: Pontremoli to Lucca" walking tour. This eight-day self-guided journey guides travelers from Pontremoli’s castle-dotted hills to the walled city of Lucca, taking in the lush landscapes of Versilia and the artistic hub of Pietrasanta. Enjoy the option to swim along sandy beaches, explore ancient workshops, and stroll through some of Tuscany’s most captivating old towns. The unique selling point: the blend of coastal and countryside walking, punctuated by lesser-known cultural gems and authentic regional hospitality. Ideal for those who want to experience a quieter side of the Italian Camino.
Very well organised trip. Logistics were excellent, accommodation was comfortable and central to all amenities of the towns. Hike maps and notes were extremely detailed. I would highly recommend them and am considering another trip in the near future.
Overall the trip was excellent. The walking was demanding but fair. The walking notes were easy to follow. Accommodations and other arrangements were generally excellent.
