This one swings you from Rome to Naples, the home of pizza and gateway to Pompeii, before gliding along the dreamy Amalfi Coast. After falling for Capri and postcard pretty Positano, it's time to head to Sicily for a week of dreamy beaches, incredible food and endless ancient history. This Italian adventure has a little something for everyone. The best part is? You can live the Contiki dream with a fellow group of 35 to 45s.
This all-Italian adventure swings you from this historic beauty of Rome through the home of pizza, Naples (where you can stop off in the perfectly preserved Roman town of Pompeii). Then, it's all about living the good life on the Amalfi coast, sipping limoncello, and stopping off at picture perfect Positano (if you're here in the summer) and Sorrento during those breezy winter months. Back in Rome you'll get a chance to check out the Colosseum, before this unforgettable 6-day trip comes to an end. The best part is? You can live the Contiki dream with a fellow group of 35 to 45s.
We've been visiting Italy for decades, but it's fair to say we've never put together an adventure quite like this. From Rome this one glides through Renaissance Florence and the glitzy Riviera, with cooking classes and historical monuments galore along the way. Then onto Naples and Pompeii, for a feast of pizza and ancient Roman history, before hitting up the incomparable Amalfi coast. After cruising around some dazzling isles and visiting some lemon groves, we'll head back to Rome. But we're not done yet - not even close. Sicily beckons, with its valleys of ancient archaeological wonders, volcanoes to explore, coastal towns to fall in love with and all of the heavenly carbs we can fit in. After a full week on this paradise island, we'll be head-over-heels for absolutely everything Italian. It's called Ultimate Italy for a reason. The best part is? You can live the Contiki dream with a fellow group of 35 to 45s.
10 days of la dolce vita, pronto. This one is pure Italian travel, covering all the big bucket-list destinations of Venice, Florence & Rome, plus the smaller charms of Pisa, Verona, and Siena. Expect comfy hotels and plenty of world-famous espresso & pizza on the way. The best part is? You can live the Contiki dream with a fellow group of 35 to 45s.
I had an amazing time. Both trip managers were wonderful, super helpful and lots of fun. I really enjoyed all the places we went and the activities. Going in May was definitely a good idea, the weather was warm but not too hot and the crowds were an okay size.
Welcome to 15 days of pure Italian travel immersion with your squad of awesome 35-45 year old travellers. Covering Rome, Florence, Milan, Venice and beyond, this one brings you the blissful best of this soul-stirring country. Explore Rome's historical highlights, travel through the streets of Michelangelo's Florence, indulge in some authentic pasta on the Amalfi Coast. This was a great trip to explore each city. Personally, this felt a bit more independent type travel (exploring the city by yourself or if you made a friend with them) vs other Contikis (more time with the group). Hotels were great and fantastic locations (centrally located near metros and the main train station). Fantastic free time add ons as well.
