My husband and I took this tour to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. it turned out to be one of the most memorable trips of our lives. We’ve traveled quite a bit over the years, but this tour stood out for its perfect blend of countries. From the very beginning in Copenhagen everything felt well-organized and thoughtfully planned. The pace was comfortable for us: not too rushed yet still packed with fascinating experiences. We especially loved the fjord region in Norway cruising past snow-capped peaks and still waters was like something out of a dream. Each capital city had its own charm. The hotels were clean, comfortable, and located close to key attractions which made exploring in our free time very easy. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making the experience enjoyable. She even arranged a surprise dessert at dinner one evening which brought tears of joy to my eyes. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel celebrated and appreciated. We also enjoyed connecting with fellow travelers from different backgrounds. This trip reminded us why we fell in love with eachpther in the first place. Scandinavia and the Baltic were destinations we’d always dreamed of, and the team made it all possible without the stress of planning every detail. We came home with beautiful memories, hundreds of photos, and hearts full of gratitude. We would absolutely recommend this tour especially for special milestones. The best tour we have ever been on. Magdalena was a fantastic guide! She was extremely well prepared and organised, knowledgeable and lots of fun. Magdalena went out of her way to find new experiences that she thought the group would enjoy. We walked to places that we would never have found by ourselves and stayed in villages that were off the tourist track. The hotels were clean and comfortable. We are already looking for other walks run by Explore World and preferably led by Magdalena. We have already recommended this tour to many people we have met since we finished the walking tour.

Fabulous trip, if too rushed at the beginning. If we could set off on day 1 from Inverness earlier in the day it would be preferable. Days were a bit rushed, too, leaving hardly any time to explore/do anything in Kirkwall, since they rool up tge sidewalk at 4:30 or 5pm. Marco did great job of altering itinerary to accommodate those who wanted time in town. An additional day, however unwieldy for the tour operator, could easily solve it. On last day, the later departure from Kirkwall helped too. The walks and Neolithic sites were great, made incredible by the fantastic sunny weather we were lucky enough to have. The guides providing dinner reservations for the group was helpful too, as the place seemed quite busy.
