From the moment I arrived in Casablanca to my departure from Marrakech, every detail was taken care of with precision and elegance. The tour began with a warm welcome at the airport, followed by smooth transfers to beautiful hotels, many of which were luxurious 5-star riads and kasbahs. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and each city, from Rabat to Fes and Marrakech, revealed layers of Moroccan history and culture that I would have never discovered on my own. I particularly enjoyed the private, guided tours in Fes and Marrakech, where I explored hidden gems within the medina and learned about local crafts and traditions.
One of the highlights was the Sahara desert experience. Riding camels into the golden dunes and spending the night at a luxurious desert camp was surreal. The entire setup, with its opulent tents and delicious meals, made me feel like royalty under the starlit sky. We took a 10 days trip from Marrakesh to Fes, through Ourzazat and Merzuga desert. Our driver was Mokhtar. We had wonderful time. mokhtar is a very skilled and friendly driver, knowing a lot about every region of Moroco. He knows good photo spots as well. The hotel we stayed in Ourzazat was boutique and very relaxing. The second night we stayed in a luxury camp at the desert, which was above the expectations. A great experience to see a lot of Morocco in relatively short time - I highly recommend Top Desert Tours and Mohamed! Such a variety of experiences and learnt a lot about the country, culture, landscapes, people. Thank you Mokhtar!
From beginning to end, our 5-day journey was an incredible experience. The high point? The hot air balloon ride, camel ride, and quad riding were definitely highlights. An adventure seeker's dream comes true when they can ride a quad bike across desert dunes, swing softly on a camel's back, or fly above stunning vistas in a hot air balloon! Wonderful tour and met all our expectations. It was a real treat having Abdul as our guide. Very positive experience overall. Our only frustration was when we first joined the tour group, the van we rode in to Marrakesh was already full. The four of us had to ride in the very back which was really meant for 3 people. Two of our travelling companions are over 6 ft. tall and our shoulders were overlapping by 6-8 inches. It was super uncomfortable as well as one of us gets car sick, so sitting in back in super tight quarters (with no windows and air conditioning that was not working from the front to the back of the van) was completely unacceptable. We in no way blame Abdul as this was not his doing, it was the responsibility of this company to make sure this did not happen. I hope you take care of this situation for future!
