I joined this tour as an 18 year old first time solo traveller, scared and excited to travel with strangers. To put it simply, it exceeded all my expectations. The places I’ve been, the things I’ve seen and the people I’ve met put my experience over the top. Thank you G Adventures!

Explore all the must-sees of Copenhagen on our most popular 2-hour Guided Segway Tour! The tour also includes a short stop mid-way through at the 'hyggelig' cafe in the Royal Danish Theatre on Kongens Nytorv, where we have some special coffee/cake/drinks offers exclusively to our Segway Cruisers, if you wish to sample some traditional Danish pastries.
Your Segway experience will begin at our waterfront store at Langelinie. Here, we will check you in and train you on our spacious and quiet training ground. Don't worry if you haven't tried a Segway before, it's super easy to learn and most of our guests usually have this down very quickly!
Once you're comfortable, you'll begin the guided tour by cruising along the pier in a no-car zone, it's a great way to take off! On this stretch, you'll see some iconic landmarks such as The Little Mermaid, and there's also an opportunity to have your photo taken with our popular lady of Copenhagen. You'll also see the Royal Opera House, Gefion Fountain, The Royal Playhouse and much more.
Once we reach the colourful Nyhavn, we will continue further into the city where you'll get to visit unique landmarks such as Christianborg Palace (Parliament), but also explore the cosy streets in the latin-quarter and 'straederne', allowing you to get a glimpse into Copenhagen daily life.
After a short stop at the cafe in the Royal Danish Theatre, where you can sample some traditional 'kanelsnurre' from one of the best bakeries in town, we will continue along Kongens Nytorv towards the impressive Marble Church and Amalienborg Palace, where you will drive right up on the Square and see the Royal Guards. We will then head back through Kastellet (The Citadel) where cars are not allowed to drive, giving you a unique perspective of the still-active military site with its red colourful barracks.
You'll definitely be able to test out your (new) Segway skills on this tour, whilst sightseeing Copenhagen in a fun, different and eco-friendly way!
Our tours run with small groups to get the best experience, where there will be plenty of photo opportunities. Alternatively, you can also choose a private tour option if you want a tour exclusively for your group only!
Your Segway Cruise will end back at our store on Langelinie where you'll receive a fun souvenir and you're more than welcome to enjoy a complimentary organic beverage!
This tour is also perfect for shore excursions, not only because of our ideal location for the cruise ships but also because it allows you to see so much of the city when you have limited time to enjoy wonderful Copenhagen!

These are full days packed with lots of information, the bus and all the people in it become family. You don’t have to be fit but there is a lot of walking. They help to get you into places where you’d otherwise have to queue up for hours. Amazing scenery
Did alot that I didn't even know existed, like Modena balsamic vinegar...wow. I thought the tour leader was very accommodating for folks with different energy levels .

The trip was amazing. Saw so many places and met lots of lovely people.
The tour has long days as you have to cover great distances some days but it is worth it for the varied landscapes and experiences that are on offer.
Taking a camel ride along cable beach at sunset. Walking on shell beach, seeing dolphins, turtles, rays and incredible wildlife. Snorkelling, swimming in fern pool in Dale Gorge, walking among the pinnacles and finishing the tour with an entertaining talk by Derek an aboriginal.
Carolyn. Tour director had so much knowledge to impart and took us to some incredible places. Terry the driver was amazing and kept us on the road and topped up with water. Nothing was too much for them.
The accommodation varied, from luxury to a miner’s cabin but they were all clean and did the job. Remember we were at times in very remote areas and there is not a lot of choice. Embrace the experience.
Would recommend taking the tour if you want to experience Western Australia.
