The Lemosho Route is perhaps the most scenic Kilimanjaro route, from the first day to the last. The trail begins north of Shira, also on the western side of the mountain. But unlike the Shira Route, where for the first day you walk on a wide 4 WD road, Lemosho is a narrow wilderness trail right from the beginning, passing through pristine and remote rainforest with good chances of seeing wildlife. It then crosses the Shira Plateau before joining the Machame Route near the Lava Tower.
Luckily, despite its growing popularity, especially for second time Kilimanjaro climbers, Lemosho sees a very low number of people and truly offers and incredible adventure on the highest peak in Africa, and the highest free standing mountain in the world.
Maasai Wanderings is looking very much forward to providing you with a climb of a lifetime. No previous mountaineering experience is required for this trip.
Step into the heart of Zanzibar’s natural heritage with the Jozani Forest Tour, a family-friendly trip ideal for curious minds and nature lovers. Explore diverse habitats, from evergreen thickets to mangrove forests, and encounter the island’s famous Kirk’s red colobus monkeys—once on the brink of extinction, now thriving thanks to local conservation efforts.
Your journey continues along the Pete-Jozani mangrove boardwalk, winding through crucial ecosystems that support a wealth of birdlife, reptiles, and small antelopes. As you wander, learn how your visit contributes to ongoing community projects and wildlife protection.
The unique selling point of this tour package is its blend of wildlife encounters and environmental education, making it a rewarding outing for families and anyone seeking a deeper understanding of Zanzibar’s ecological wonders.
Discover Tanzania’s wild side on a budget with this four-day safari covering Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Tailored for young adults and seniors alike, you’ll travel in comfort aboard a 4x4 safari vehicle with a professional driver-guide, maximizing your chances to spot elephants, lions, leopards, and an impressive array of predators. The highlight is the world-famous Serengeti, followed by an unforgettable descent into Ngorongoro Crater—often called a natural zoo for its dense wildlife. Unique to this tour package is its balance of affordability, expert guidance, and the opportunity to witness Tanzania’s most celebrated landscapes and fauna in a short time.

Here, you'll have a unique chance to camp in the African bush, gazing up at the endless stars. After enjoying some included game drives (and getting some perspective-bending pics at the insane Makgadikgadi Salt Pans), it's onto the Okavango Delta for more camping and some of the best wildlife-spotting opportunities in the world.
