Although we've traveled independently as well as with a number of other tour companies over the years, this was our first trip with G Adventures/National Geographic Journeys. Excellent. Trip of a life time. Very interesting loved to seeing the animals in their natural habitat but the cultural aspect that were the included aspects but also the additional paid excursions. Many of the expert added guides were very very good adding lots to the trip. I especially liked the guide/researcher to the Namibia in the desert who took us for a tour in the desert describing how the flora and fauna survived without rain etc.so very interesting. I also enjoyed the tour in the Botanical Garden in Cape Town, very interesting but too short. The only caution is that if you take this tour, you need to be aware of the long rides, usually necessary due to the isolation of some sites, and lots of early mornings. Always need to be prepared for lots of tipping on a daily basis. Overall, would highly recommend
