Unbelievable safari! Was able to see all of the Big 5 except for the leopard. Accommodations were in a camp like setting with a big tent and decent bed giving the outdoor experience.

Mikumi National Park is one of the most popular national parks in Tanzania and this is because it is easily accessible from Dar es salaam. Mikumi National Park is named after a village, which in turn takes its name from the Swahili word for Borassus Palm, which once grew there abundantly.
This park can be visited in a single day from Dar es Salaam. But, if you have more time, this charming park warrants a longer stay. The wide expanses of the Mkata Floodplain are full of wildlife: lions, wildebeest, impala, eland and buffalo migrate across the plains. In the Miombo woodland on the foothills of the local mountains greater kudu and sable antelopes can be seen. More than 400 species of birds have also been sighted in Mikumi.
Be ready for an exciting 3-day safari trip in two adjoining national parks. Visit Tsavo West National Park, located in the Coast Province of Kenya, and see a variety of African wildlife like never before. Move on to Tsavo East National Park and explore its red-soil plains. See elephants, rhinos, lions, giraffes and other animals and birds in their natural habitat.
Take a guided nature walk to Mzima Springs, whose resident animals include hippos and crocodiles along with different species of birds. This 5 days safari will start our from Arusha and display some of Tanzania's best safaris, that will take place in a 4x4 wheeled vehicle with pop-up roof. The vehicle is driven safely by a driver and guide who will take you around. On the first day of this safari you and your fellow travellers will visit Lake Manyara at the first day where you will see tree-climbing lions regularly climbing into the acacia canopy, probably to run away the concentration of biting insects. Lake Manyara is also home to large herds of buffalo, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, elephants and hippo pools. The Lake Manyara National Park also attracts water birds such as herons, storks, kingfishers and the iconic fish eagle. The National park is home to Tanzania's birdlife, with 400-plus species recorded, counting 50 birds of prey, raucous forest hornbills, pink-hued flamingos and flotillas of pelicans etc.
The following day our professional driver guide takes you through Serengeti National Park which will give you the chance to experience the BIG five (5) and other animal like elephants, giraffes, dik diks, zebras, gazelles, impalas, hartebeests, topis, buffalos, and waterbucks. Furthermore, we guestimate that you will see about 500 bird species, including ostrich, secretary bird, Kori bustard, crowned crane, marabou stork, martial eagle, lovebirds, and many species of vultures.
Day 5 of this tour will take place in Serengeti National Park where our driver guide will drive you through the Ngorongoro Crater which is known also as the Garden of Eden in terms of wildlife. Here you can expect to see hot springs, the maasai community and of course various animal species.

The 5-day climbing Kilimanjaro via Marangu route is one of the most popular routes to the summit of the famous Mount Kilimanjaro. The route enables the climber to reach the summit one day earlier as compared to the Machame route. This route does, however, offer you the option of spending an extra acclimatisation day on the mountain if needed.
This route offers the relative luxury of being able to sleep in shared huts along the entire route. Mineral water, soft drinks, chocolates and beer are also sold at all the camps on this route. All your equipment and supplies are portered and a cook prepares all your meals.

Covering about 330km², of which typically two-thirds is underwater, Lake Manyara National Park is a small park by African standards. However, it's also very beautiful and contains tremendous diversity of habitats, animals and especially birds.
In 1951, the enormous Serengeti National Park was declared, encompassing the present Serengeti, plus the Ngorongoro area and surrounding Crater Highlands. Today, this is split into the present-day Serengeti National Park, and the current Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The conservation area now encompasses a large area of the short-grass plains on the southern side of the Serengeti Plain and also the Ngorongoro Highlands, a range of largely extinct ancient volcanoes on the west side of the Great Rift Valley.

We, along with a few friends, took part in a 3-day safari, which was planned as Arusha → Tarangire → Lake Manyara → Ngorongoro Crater.
We had a lot of fun on this little trip together. At night, it was fun, and during the day, it was all about wildlife. Our guide was very experienced; he would easily find animals and share interesting information about each place.
The huge elephant herd in Tarangire, the colorful birds of Lake Manyara and the magnificent view of the Ngorongoro Crater are still remembered.
This safari will definitely be a great experience for those who want to enjoy the original beauties of Tanzania in less time.
