Alberto was great! He was friendly, and communicative, and provided door-to-door service. We were in CR celebrating my girlfriend's birthday. I was initially undecided about renting a vehicle. However, I am happy that I did not. The excursions were awesome, and Alberto helped take away potential stress. We were able to sit back, relax, and just have fun because he made us feel comfortable and safe. We plan to book with Greenway Tours for future travels to the country.

We loved the La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Sarapiqui River tour! La Paz is beyond beautiful with orchids, hummingbirds, frogs, toucans, scarlet macaws, parrots, coatis, sloths, ocelots, margays, and a jaguar. The gardens and waterfalls are exquisite. A wonderful buffet lunch was included.
Our trip down the Sarapiqui River in a covered boat was so much fun! We saw two caimans, iguanas, Anhingas, swallows, butterflies, and five troops of Mantled Howler monkeys.
Oscar and Armando, our guide and driver were so kind and taught us so much. We stopped at a lovely coffee finca to see the beans ripening, a sopa (local restaurant) in the mountains to take in spectacular waterfall and hummingbird views, we watched whitewater rafters, and sampled fresh pineapple at a farmstand.
Oscar and Armando treated us like family and made our first day in Costa Rica amazing!

Great tour, planned to perfection by Oldemar at th last minute. We travelled to La Fortuna, Monteverde and Manuel Antonio over 12 days and feel that we needed at least 3 more days. Did a host of activites, all organised by the company such a zip lining, waterfall rapelling, whitewater rafting, bird watching, night safari, coffee tours, etc. Very happy.

This tour to Nicaragua takes you on an exciting journey through exploring the colonial city of Leon, the stunning Ometepe Island, and the charming town of Granada. It begins in Leon, one of the oldest cities in America, where you'll see the city's UNESCO-listed ruins and the Cathedral of Leon. From Leon, the journey continues to Ometepe Island, taking a ferry from San Jorge to Moyogalpa. This was a challenging trip with a mixture of hard and easy cycling covering a number of different areas of this beautiful country. We had a good mixed group who gelled together very quickly and which made the time together very enjoyable. I totally enjoyed the Mayan experience with our tour leader Thomas Morales...we were his family and he organised a brilliant holiday for us. He solved a major problem we had with our phone...I highly recommend him as a tour leader.
My only concern was the treatment of farm animals going for slaughter....I did not see any vetinary supervision or any health and safety practices.

Highlights of Costa Rica was an excellent trip, it packed in many sites and activities. I was a little apprehensive about the float trip but it was slow and gentle and allowed us to get a unique view from the river. The guide was excellent and pointed out lots of aniand birds. The rain and cloud forests didn't disappoint and I thoroughly enjoyed the fast paced trip.

This trip delivers in what is promises, wildlife! From the Green Turtles, Monkeys, and Toucans in Tortuguero to the Humpback Whales in Manuel Antonio we saw plenty of wildlife, all expertly pointed out by our Tour leader Leo. Additional highlights included the Cocao Tour in San Gerado de Dota and the White Water Rafting, both included in the Tour.
As others have mentioned, the tour could do with a slight change in itinerary, getting us out of San Jose and into the cloud forest sooner and the hotel in La Fortuna was a slight dissapointment given how good all the other hotels were, however this did not put a damper on the overall tour.
I can recommend going in the 'off' season too, the weather was no where near as bad as expected and there were fewer tourists to have to contend with!
