We got to see so many amazing places and now I have a great idea of where I would go back to. Yes it is very fast paced and you wont do everything you want to but you do 95% of the main attractions of each place and you have people to share the experiences with. You will 100% make friends on these trips if you solo traveler :)

In the morning, our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada or El Gouna and transfer you to Hurghada International Airport for flight to Cairo. At the airport, you will be met and accompanied by your tour guide.
We head on to discover the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then, we proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, which dates from the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren.
Lunch will be served at a good quality local restaurant in Cairo.
Then you will move on to relish a trip to the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest and the most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen. It boasts a collection gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.
Move on to Coptic Cairo for a background about the Christian & Jewish heritage through the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar.
Finally you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for flight to Hurghada and then transfer back to your hotel.
At 5:00 am, you will be picked up by our representative from your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor. Then you will be transferred to Luxor International Airport for flight to Cairo.
In Cairo, you will be met by our guide who will hold a sign with your name in front of the airport exit gate. You will then be transferred for your full-day tour.
Start your full day tour discovering Giza Pyramids: The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus.
We then visit the Valley Temple, the temple where the Highest Priests Mumified the dead body of king Chephren & made his final judgment for his heart.

After spending your 3 hours in Giza Pyramids and Sphinx, we stop for lunch at local restaurant in Giza.

The “second day” the flight is SUPER early and you have to leave the hotel at 4 am.
That was not communicated anywhere and we didn’t arrive at the hotel u til after 11 pm the night before. It made the morning very difficult!
Also, it would be helpful if there was a place by the day noting if women needed to cover shoulders/knees or men knees. When I was packing and googling, it said that at Kom Ombo (and most of the temples) it was recommended to have shoulder and knees covered, but when we got there I was told we didn’t need it. I had a lot more pants packed then I needed and that would have been helpful to know when I actually needed to wear more conservative clothing or having my hair covered.
Overall the itinerary was good. We saw a lot and had a great guide!
We were on the Steinberger cruise ship - I would not recommend that one again. Very limited. We were on Thai ship with another group from Trafalgar that paid less for the tour and we had no extras. We allowed one drink at dinner and one bottle of water.. anything more we had to pay for. They didn’t have coffee/tea available throughout the day for free. It seemed like they were nickel and diming the guests. I have been on other River cruises and unlimited water, beverages at dinner, and feee coffee/tea throughout the day in the lounge was accessible.
