This was my first time in in Egypt, it was an unforgettable experience! After seeing the Great Pyramids in Giza I took an overnight train to Luxor and spent several days exploring everything Luxor has to offer. I found the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank to be particularly fascinating (So much Ancient Egyptian history in a relatively small area!). I then spent three nights on a Nile cruise towards Aswan. The weather was perfect and we stopped at two Ancient Egyptian temples, Edfu and Kom Ombo. My tour guide was a certified Egyptogolist named Ahmed Haggag Ali. He really seemed to enjoy being a tour guide and his English was perfect. He explained the temples to me and was able to answer all of my questions. Kom Ombo was particularly fascinating to me because it was an ancient hospital. After arriving in Aswan, Ahmed was also my tour guide for visiting Abu Simbel (Another must see part of Egypt!). I highly recomend visiting Egypt and having Ahmed as a guide, you will not be disappointed.
We had a wonderful trip to Egypt planned by the local travel specialists. We saw everything we had hoped to see and enjoyed the expertise that our guides Yousra Ali and Mahmoud Badr provided. We will be boarding one of two Mahmya boats, and sail for around one hour to the island. Mahmya Beach is on the southern shores of the Giftun Island National Park off the coast of Hurghada. Mahmya in Arabic means “Protected Area”. To protect the coral reef and its marine inhabitants, the boats moor at buoys off the pristine bay, and you will be taken to the shore by smaller boats.
Once you have landed on the island, you are free to snorkel on the impressive coral heads scattered in the clear lagoon, have a walk along the sandy beach, take on other guests at beach volleyball, or just relax on the pure white beach.
A free Wi-Fi is also available in the Lounge area on Mahmya Island with Aqua Trampoline for kids. Enjoy lunch at the restaurant, with seafood and Italian specialties, and later in the day you can enjoy drinks at the bar.
Finally you will sail back from Mahmya Island to the marina where you will be met and assisted, then transferred to your hotel in Hurghada for free time at leisure and peaceful overnight stay.

You'll also have free time to wander through the vibrant markets or join optional tours to nearby temples.

Ibrahim was our tour guide and he was amazing, very nice and respectful, his English was perfect he went above and be on and we did everything we wanted to do and then some he really made our experience special he made us feel very comfortable, he was very knowledgeable about everything, from the pyramids and all the ancient ruins in the museums, even took us shopping and as we all know people can haggle you when at the pyramids and shopping around town, and he kept them all away which we extremely appreciated, and helped us translate when making purchases to ensure we got the best deal, he even took us out for refreshers and lunch at the end of the day !!! And extremely considerate he took a lot of very good pictures he was like a personal photographer, he did everything at our pace. We originally had booked him as our shuttle from the Cairo airport to our hotel when we first arrived in Egypt, he was on time to pick us up from the airport, He was waiting with our name and actually found us as soon as we walked out the door of the airport! he was also extremely punctual when picking us up from the hotel to start our tour and very accommodating considering we booked our tour on our ride from the airport to our hotel. Anytime in Cairo or the surrounding area I would definitely book him for any thing needed whether it be a tour or just an airport shuttle .

Tonight you will go for amazing Arabian Night Life "Alf Leila Wa Leila" that is a rare combination of oriental architecture of colorful domes, high pillars and towers, huge gates, fountains, marble paths, and the never ending fantasy of Egyptian charm. It is a place where you can find out more about the life of Pharaohs and Bedouins, and also about customs and traditions of the region.

You will visit Old Cairo that is also known as Christian Coptic Cairo which is among the most important locations visited by the Holy Family.
In later years, the Church of Abu Serga (St Sergious) was built. This, and the whole area of the Fort of Babylon, is a destination of pilgrimage not only for the Egyptians but for Christians from around the world. An air of piety and devotion pervades the whole district there. Then we continue our day tour to Islamic Cairo that was founded in 641 A.D by the First Muslim leader Amr Ibn Elas. Over there in Islamic Cairo you will be able to visit and enter some of the mosques such as - `Masjid` Amr Ibn Elas Mosque, followed by a visit to the Most and biggest mosques in Cairo which is El Sultan Hassan Mosque. We will then visit another big famous Mosque which is the Al-Rifa’i Mosque. The building is located opposite the Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan, which dates from around 1361, and was architecturally conceived as a complement to the older structure. The mosque was constructed next to two large public squares and off of several European style. (2:30 hrs Time)
Then visit The Citadel of Cairo where you can visit the most famous mosque in Cairo which is Mohamed Ali`s mosque that known as the Alabaster Mosque. (1hr Time)
Then end your day tour with a visit to Khan Khalili Bazaar.
