Wonderful trip with our guide Lisa. The itinerary was good, but many long bus rides-which is necessary to cover mainland Greece and get in as much as we did in 7 full days. Would have loved to have an overnight stay in Nafplio. Enjoyed staying in hotels within walking distance to the towns-made it really easy to just go during free times. The dinner buffets at the hotels were not my favorite but understand why since a couple nights we were getting into the hotels late due to traveling. Kalabaka and Meteora were a highlight for me. The Olive Farm and Cooking night were wonderful. Both the Santorini and Mykonos stays were wonderful. The optional catamaran excursion on Santorini was great.

This short 7-day Greece tour provides a great introduction to Athens and some of the surrounding highlights from ancient Greek history as well as getting a taste for the country's spectacular coastal and mountain scenery. Next we head west towards Mycenea with several stops and some scenic coastal scenery along the way. Our guide will provide explanations about Greek history and mythology, relating them to the places you're visiting. Our next stop is Olympia, birthplace of the Olympics and more ancient sites, before we head back towards Athens with a stop to tour the temples and ruins at Delphi on the way.

We swam off the boat every day and when we docked in various ports Thanos was able to point us to the best places to go, organise taxis for us if necessary and in the evening recommend the best restaurants.

This 10-day Greece tour balances some of Greece's most impressive and fascinating ancient sites around Athens, Olympia and Delphi with the spectacular monasteries at Meteora and one of the Mediterranean's most beautiful and interesting islands, Santorini.

Our final major stop in mainland Greece is then to see the amazing cliiftop monasteries and breathtaking scenery of Meteora, before we head back to Athens.
We take to the ferry next and sail into the Aegean Sea to the volcanic island of Santorini. The island was created in its present form by a huge volcanic eruption over 3,500 years ago that created a large crater which is now filled by the sea forming a huge bay surrounded by steep cliffs and coloured lava pebble beaches. The island is full of small villages with narrow winding alleys and whitewashed buildings that are fascinating to hike through. There are also hot springs, wineries and the remaining active volcano itself to discover. We have a couple of days here to relax and explore the island before returning to Athens to finish our tour.

We’re both in our 60s and loved the concept of seeing iconic cities in one tour. Highlights for us were Cape Town and Agra, very well organized with knowledgeable guides. The early morning flights and long transfers were tiring, and there wasn’t much time to unpack before moving again. That said, we met lovely people and learned so much. We just wish we had more time in Singapore. They handled logistics impressively for such a big tour. Would recommend for flexible, energetic travelers.
Best Places of Peloponnese
This is a private transportation tour that includes car and driver. The tour starts from Athens and includes two amazing days to see the most majestic archaeological places of the Peloponnese peninsula in southern Greece.
We'll explore ancient Corinth and historical Mycenae, including the Canal of Corinth. We'll spend the night in Delphi and enjoy free time in the evening. The next morning, we will head to Ancient Sparta and then to Mystras where you will be able to enjoy the views of the castle. Our final destination before our return is the Ancient "Sacred Forrest" which was the name of Ancient Olympia and it's built on the North riverbank of Alfeios.
