At around 08:00 – 08:30 am, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and we will proceed to the Phnom Chisor temple in Takeo Province. This Angkorian era temple is located on top of a hill, offering a magnificent panorama of Cambodia’s rich countryside.
Later, have a simple but delicious meal at a local restaurant. Take a boat trip along a tranquil river to the Archaeological Museum of Angkor Borei, which displays artifacts from the area and provides information on recent archaeological digs. Continue to the temple ruins of Phnom Da, an impressive 11th century Angkorian-era brick and sandstone tower.
On the way back to Phnom Penh, we will stop to visit Tonle Bati, a popular lake and picnic area for the locals, and explore the two small but appealing temples. Head back to Phnom Penh in the afternoon and the tour ends around 17:00 pm at your hotel.

The first stop is Wat Phnom, the highest religious structure in this city. Next up on the itinerary is a stop at the Royal Palace, a complex of buildings serving as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia and Silver Pagoda, which is situated to the south of the Royal Palace and is famous for its small green crystal Buddha.
We then proceed to the nearby the National Museum, showcasing the magnificence and grandeur of the Khmer civilization and Angkor. We will pick you from your hotel at 8.30 am for an amazing full day tour of Phnom Penh. Around 9:00, you will take a cyclo tour and discover the impressive French Khmer colonial structures in Phnom Penh.
Next up on the itinerary is a chance to visit the site of the film “City of Ghosts” starring Matt Dillon and Gerard Depardieu. Proceed to Wat Phnom, where you can spot monkeys, have your fortune told and even feed the elephant.
After that, you will visit Central Market, which is situated in a special domed Art Deco building. Head over to the Independence Monument and the Cambodia/Vietnam friendship monument for some stunning photographs.
Around 12:30 pm, we will sample traditional Khmer delicacies at a not for profit organization founded to aid Cambodia’s street children. After a short rest, we proceed with the next part of the tour (around 14:00 pm).
Now that we've done enough sightseeing, we move on for a shopping adventure at the sprawling Russian Market, one of the most popular markets in Phnom Penh to buy something as souvenirs and know more about the daily life of locals here.

The grounds of the palace are also home to the Silver Pagoda, which received its name because its floor is made of 5,329 silver tiles. Learn about the Khmer kings who resided here the whole time except during the period when the Khmer Rouge took control in 1975. Then, learn about the turbulent years of the Khmer Rouge at the infamous Tuol Sleng Museum. Located in a former high school that was used as the notorious Security Prison 21, the Genocide Museum traces the story of the Killing Fields and the torture and executions that took place from 1975-79. See exhibits that tell the stories of some of the estimated 20,000 prisoners that were killed.

This traditional craft of puppet making appeared centuries ago and has been preserved during the Civil war with the support of several non-government organizations. Once you're in Cambodia, you shouldn't miss out a chance to experience this incredible craft by making a shadow puppet on your own. We will meet you at your hotel at 7:30 am with the mountain bikes. We will leave Siem Reap and follow some small bucolic roads west of the city. We will cycle through the countryside and cross villages. We will see temples, traditional houses and the daily life of the villagers at the markets and the farmers in the rice fields. At about 9:30 am, we will arrive at the village of Puok where we can visit the local market and the Silk farm, an applied research and vocational training center for all silk-related jobs which is part of Artisans d'Angkor from the Chantiers-Ecoles. This company was created to help young people to find work in their home villages and was quoted as a means to reduce poverty in the world by IMF and UNESCO. There, you will learn the silk production, from the silk-worm breeding to the weaving.
We will then continue our ride to reach the Sangkheum Center for Children, an NGO which provides a home for orphaned, abused or neglected children, as well as general education and selected vocational training. We will visit the center to learn more about their work and see the children in training in the workshops, the agricultural farm or practicing dance and music.
Afterwards we will go to the Western Baray, an ancient reservoir more than 2 km across and 9 km long with an average depth of 7 m. This huge construction was realized by King Yasovarman 1st (889-910), the entire expanse of water is contained within a levee of earth which forms a dike, shaded by large trees and with the forest of Angkor as its backdrop. At its present level, the water only covering two thirds depths of 4 and 5 metres - the remainder is currently rice fields. On the island in the middle of the Baray stand the ruins of the western Mebon temple. This temple contained formerly a gigantic bronze statue of Vishnu which is today exhibited in the National Museum in Phnom Penh. This artificial lake is now a recreational place for the locals who flock here on the weekend. We will have lunch in this lovely place and spend a part of the afternoon by swimming.
On the way back, we will stop at the small village of Banteay Chreu to visit the popular Buddhist temple Svay Romeat from where we can have a whole view of the surrounding countryside. Then, we will continue our ride along a quiet road to Siem Reap. We will arrive at your hotel at the end of the afternoon.

You will be picked up from your hotel at 8 am by an English speaking tourist guide and taken on a full day tour of Phnom Penh.
First, we will head to the south of Phnom Penh to visit the Ta Prohm Temple, a beautiful temple built in the late 12th century, showcasing a Bayon-style architecture. The temple still retains its original beauty and has literally been let undisturbed over time, a stark contrast when compared to most Angkorian ruins.
Next up on the itinerary is the Yeay Peau temple, the silk weaving village in Tonle Bati and the stunning temple of the Black Virgin at Prasat Neang Khmao.
We finally make our way to the Chisor Mountain, which is an ancient site that is known for offering picturesque views of surrounding Cambodian villages and rice paddies. You can also check out the Phnom Chisor Temple on the top of the mountain.
