Floating Villages, Tonle Sap Lake and Mangrove Forest
This tour will take you to three villages along the Tonle Sap floodplains — discover Cambodia’s most important economic and ecological resource!
We will pick up from your hotel at 7:00 am and drive 15 km from Siem Reap to the boat docks of Chong Khneas. Board a local boat for a lovely ride onto the Tonle Sap through the floating village and market of Chong Khneas and villages on high stilts. Visit Kopong Phluk mangrove forest and the remote Kompong Khleang, the village on stilts. See how villagers uniquely live in harmony in this uncommon setting over/on water. Spend the whole day by the lake and its floodplains for this enriching cultural experience. Make a stop at Gecko Environment Center where you can learn more about the ecology and rich biodiversity of Tonle Sap and its surrounding floodplains.
The tour includes picnic lunch, cold bottled waters, beers and snacks.
In the afternoon, we will return to the boat dock in Kampong Khleang and travel back to Siem Reap in the afternoon by car.

Taste of Battambang and Bamboo train
Battambang is the provincial capital of Battambang province and is the second biggest town in Cambodia. However, it still has a very local, un-touristy, provincial atmosphere. On this two-day, small group tour (maximum 10 people), travel to Battambang from Siem Reap or Phnom Penh by local bus.
Enjoy a stroll around the city to explore the town and see the old colonial buildings, including the Governor’s residence and the small museum. Visit the Wat Ek Phnom temple along the Sang Ker River and also visit the 12th-century Prasat Bannon temple where you can enjoy a stunning view over the surrounding plains. A real-life experience on the bamboo train will bring you through the countryside and the local villages. On the second day, catch a local taxi back to Siem Reap.

Phnom Penh Small Group City Tour
On this small-group tour, visit the most highlighted sites of the city and learn about its history. Today, you will join a group tour and your guide will pick up from a few different hotels, so the pickup time is variable between 7:30am to 8:30am. Your guide will take you to the Royal Palace, built in 1866 by the French after King Norodom relocated the royal capital from Oudong. Located on the western banks of the Tonle Sap and Mekong River, the palace complex features stunning Khmer architecture, divided into 4 main compounds.
The grounds of the palace are also home to the Silver Pagoda, which received its name because its floor is made of 5,329 silver tiles. Learn about the Khmer kings, resident at all times, with the exception of the period when the Khmer Rouge took control in 1975. See gold and jeweled Buddha statues in the Silver Pagoda, and the Angkor Wat style Bell Tower.
Then, learn about the turbulent years of the Khmer Rouge at the infamous Tuol Sleng Museum. Located in a former high school that was used as the notorious Security Prison 21, the Genocide Museum traces the story of the Killing Fields and the torture and executions that took place from 1975-79. See exhibits that tell the stories of some of the estimated 20,000 prisoners that were killed.
Return to the city center and get stunning views of the Tonle Sap and Mekong River Side before tour ends.
This tour concludes with return transfer to your hotel or any requested drop off point within the city center.

The tour starts with a pick-up from Sihanoukville, and then a two-hour drive to Kampot by car. Explore Kampot town and catch sight of the rustic French colonial buildings. Discover the history and architecture as we explore the town’s streets.
Immerse yourself in authentic Cambodian culture with visits to a fishing village, traditional salt field, pepper farm and Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple, a brick temple nestled inside the limestone cave dedicated to Shiva.
Then, head to the coastal town of Kep, 25km from Kampot and best known for its seafood, especially crab. Kep is also a French colonial town showing remnants of old French architecture. Now is the best time to see Kep town as the former sea and mountainside villas which were abandoned during war time are now slowly deteriorating.
