day 1Hanoi (Vietnam)
Blaring horns, French colonial buildings, peaceful lakes, and the scent of incense in the air - welcome to historic Hanoi. Meet your fellow travellers and kick things off with a street food tour through the Old Quarter. Our in-the-know Trip Leader will guide us to the best spots for bánh mì, pho, spring rolls, and egg coffee (yes, it’s a thing – and it’s delicious). Later, we’ll head to Bia Hoi Corner. We might be a mixed bunch, but we’re all in it together, so grab a stool, order a cold Bia Hà Noi, and toast to new adventures.

The vietnam & cambodia tour is quite fast paced and has a great itinerary where you get to see nearly all of the countries highlights with many activities included. Our trip leader Thiep was such a kind hearted genuine person who had a lot of knowledge on the history of vietnam, was well organised and experienced. He cared for the whole tour group and always checked on people if they were feeling unwell. It was very sad to say goodbye to Theip as he became a great friend to us all; I cant recommend the 17 day trip and our trip leader enough. Cheers Topdeck!
I had the most amazing trip exploring so many beautiful places and learning so much about the history and culture of these amazing places! Our tour guide Theip was incredible everything ran so smoothly and he taught us lots!

2 overnight trains are excessive, but otherwise our tour guide was amazing and the group was amazing.
The only thing that stopped this from being a 5 was the fact that half the time our tour guide had no idea what was going on and was usually unorganised ,at times we’d organise events our self or just take charge ie, a girl ended up fainting due too heat exhaustion and food poisoning at a temple so naturally I carried her around ,I know these temples like the back of my hand so it was easy too navigate but I was willing too get a tuk tuk and ****** her back too the hotel.This went on for two temples she fainted at the first.Apart from that he was good too a certain degree at telling us about were we were,it’s history but at the end of the day the guy with a month long streak of drinking shouldn’t be taking charge of said tour even though it came naturally.
