These visits offer a deeper understanding of the country and its people, while directly supporting the local economy — whether through cooking workshops, crafting or purchasing handmade jewelry, or other fun activities. They also work with local guides, which really adds an extra layer of insight and authenticity to the experience. Another big plus was how easy everything was: transportation, accommodations, and the overall itinerary were all taken care of. All you really had to do was choose your own lunches and dinners, pick any extra activities, and enjoy the ride. Our guide was fantastic — super enthusiastic, caring, and full of positive energy. And I was lucky to be part of a great group of fellow travelers too! All in all, I look back on this trip with a big smile, and I’d book with G Adventures again in a heartbeat.
