I really liked this trip, though I wish we stayed in Busan for at least another night. Both the Contiki and Korean guides were great, there were a few add-ons in each city to choose from and I definitely feel like I learned more about Korea than if I'd gone to the country without doing a Contiki tour. Thank you Joey and Lina!
This was a great trip, and I would recommend it.
The hotels were all fine, the one night camping less so - very cold and the set-up was VERY basic (a kilometer away from a luxury resort!) - but the night sky in the desert was amazing.
The trip notes are not totally accurate/informative though - there is a lot more travelling than they suggest and a lot of it is in 4-wheel drive vehicles over rough ground. If you don't like heights, beware!
Be prepared for squat toilets in quite a lot of places :-/
All in all it was a good trip, well managed and very interesting.

Walking around the bustling Thamel, the noise immediately disappeared when entering the garden as if it were a dreams area
Dinner here feels very peaceful, even though it was raining it added to the romantic impression .
The North Phillipines was an excellent adventure tour. A good mix of sight seeing, and meeting the people and their culture, The rice fields, weaving, pottery and UNESCO heritage sites were interesting and fun, all made so much better by Ian our tour guide. Ian was very informative, interesting, and very humorous. He did everything to make sure we had everything we needed, was able to answer all questions and bought some special local treats for us to try. Ian looked after us all so well. The drivers were amazing too having quite a lot of driving to do.
Bohol beach extension was so relaxing, in a beautiful hotel with a lovely Sandy beach. A perfect end to a great holiday.

The communication with Lana was exceptional, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience throughout our journey in Vietnam and Bali. The local guides were helpful and humorous, and introduced good places for our free time. Our visit to Halong was undoubtedly a highlight, beautiful and unique. A really interesting trip with lots of variety, and several opportunities to help with preparing food, as well as trying the many tasty dishes. Visiting during TET made it a different experience from normal, a lot of places were closed for the holiday, but we enjoyed the colourful lights, flower displays and fireworks, and saw in the New Year with the hotel owners family.
Our tour leader, Thin Ton, had to rearrange some things but he was very efficient, as well as being good company. It would perhaps be helpful to advise visitors travelling at this time of year that there may have to be changes to the itinerary, although I felt that the advantages outweighed the disadvantages.

This was an amazing trip and a lovely way to see India, the drivers and tour guides were fabulous and knew their stuff! They were flexible and took in your needs as well go ensure you saw what you wanted.
