    We did the 4-day Kathmandu valley trek and it was one of the most indelible and life-changing experiences. The trek encompasses so much more than just the view itself (which is ethereal!) -- you get to meet and interact with locals that would welcome you to take a basum (a break) on their porch, taste authentic Nepali cuisines, and maybe even pick up a few Nepali phrases. The company did a wonderful job communicating with us and catering to our questions and concerns throughout the trip. Big shoutout to our guide Bibek for being literally the best Dai/teacher one could ask for!     My whole team was so adaptable and kind. My guide Spring took me on incredible hiking and cultural journeys with his endless knowledge of history, Buddhism, architecture, animals and nature. Our driver Lahto was amazing at navigating the mountainous roads safely and confidently with added humor. The owner Tsenrig met me for dinner one night because I mentioned I wanted to try a lot of Bhutanese food. All the stops we made were so good and the accommodations were so nice with not a bad meal the whole trip. If you’re still on the fence, get this: I left my coat in a town 2 hours away and got it driven to me in 4 hours later so I didn’t leave without it on my early flight the next morning. Truly not a bad word can be said about this team and their team made my trip one of my favorite traveling experiences I’ve ever had.

The views were breathtaking, and it was truly an unforgettable experience to see the Himalayas from such a high altitude. The weather and view from Hotel Everest View were not ideal, the delicious breakfast made up for it. The timings for the helicopter were perfect, and the briefing before the trip was very informative. The team made sure that everything was well-arranged and organized throughout the trip.     Never take guides but this time Nepali government forced me to. Me and my colleague from another realm was given experienced commander Kumar with many extraordinary skills including searching, tracking, pathfinding. When you barely see some movement in the forest he already knows this is gray langur female 10 years old, 12 kg, well fed with one infant posing no threat to us. On the trip we definitely saw and experienced more than we expected. Since then we decided to always take a guide in Nepal.

I could count on him all the time, so I managed to make a great trek (my 9th in Nepal!). My guide Shiva was amazing: always there when I needed him, not there when he realized I wanted to be on my own and enjoy the fantastic views. A great experience, would always recommend Ganesh & his team. I hope to realize my last "dream trek" also with them: Mustang!
