Travel to one of the most secluded valleys in the Himalayas during this 18-day, guided tour. A slice of paradise lodged between mountains, the Tsum Valley was opened to trekkers only recently and hardly sees foreigners even now. We will drive you from Kathmandu to Soti Khola after taking you on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu.
Trek through the lower-lying areas of Gorkha district, past Machha Khola, Jagat, and Lakuwa to reach Chumling, your first stop in the Tsum Valley, which derives its name from the Tibetan “Beyul Kyimolung” which means "the Valley of Happiness".
Explore this beautiful, untouched region, see the magnificent Ganesh Himal and Mount Manaslu, and visit famous local monasteries like Mu Gompa and Rachen Gompa. Observe the life of the villagers whose primary occupation is cattle herding. Also take a trip to the cave where the famous Tibetan mystic Milarepa is said to have meditated before it is time to start your downhill journey to Soti Khola, following the gurgling Budhi Gandaki River.
The route to the valley diverts from the main Manaslu trail midway through the journey. This trek is ideal for those who want to visit one of the least explored areas in the Himalayas where life seems to be frozen in time and Buddhism binds the people together and guides their everyday activities.
We will drive you back to your hotel in Kathmandu after the trek is over. For more details, please go through the itinerary below.

Synonymous to some of the most rewarding and stimulating wildlife activities, Chitwan National Park is located at the central Terai. The park is approximately 1,000 sq. km. of sub-tropical lowland jungle, five hours by road from Kathmandu or a 25 minute flight. It is home to a multitude of wild animals including the Royal Bengal tiger and the endangered one horn Rhinoceros native to Nepal of which there are less than 1,500 surviving. There have also been more than 420 species of birds recorded inside the park.
Our jungle itinerary include a stay at a lodge within the Chitwan National Park of which there are only six unique lodges available. The accommodation is in double thatched cottage style rooms. Activities include elephant safaris, canoeing, bird watching and nature tours conducted by resident professional guides and naturalists - you are up for a treat!
A visit to Chitwan provides you with the opportunity to fully experience the contrasts of Nepal. It offers an insight into a very different natural and cultural setting compared to the more familiar visions of the Kingdom.
Our clients often choose to continue the trip from Royal Chitwan to Lumbini, the birth place of the Buddha, an important pilgrimage site. Others proceed directly to the beautiful lakeside town of Pokhara with arguably the most famous mountain backdrop anywhere in the world. We can arrange you to go to any of these two destinations, or even a third, upon ending you stay here at Chitwan.
We look forward to welcoming you to one of our great jungles in Nepal, and provide you with great nature and wildlife experiences, and a comfortable accommodation.
We travelled with this operator our honeymoon and could not have had a better experience. The itinerary was incredible, with a good balance of activity and down time, and the resorts were beautiful, with fantastic food and incredible service. The service from the agency itself was also outstanding; they were in touch every day via WhatsApp to confirm itinerary and to ensure everything was going smoothly, and were responsive to any request. I would highly recommend traveling with this amazing operator!
18:00: Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel’s lobby and we will start walking around the narrow and crowded streets of the Old Quarter and discover nightlife in the bustling city.
We will first try a bowl of “Pho” - the most well-known beef noodle soup in Vietnam. Either way, you can choose to taste a typical specialty in the South of Vietnam named “Bun Bo Nam Bo”. Then we will drop in a local beer store on the street to enjoy the night atmosphere.
You will have a chance to sit at small chairs and drink “Bia Hoi” - a special kind of draught beer only available in Vietnam - in a big glass like a local. Enjoy it well with the delicious “Nem chua ran” - a kind of Vietnamese pork sausage; and peanut. Here you can also learn how to say “cheers” in Vietnamese style.
Afterwards, enjoy a few minutes walk to get to some bars or pubs nearby inside the busiest corner of Hanoi Old Quarter. We will provide you a list of nice pubs and bars so it will be easier for you to choose out of your favorite: either dynamic discotheques where you can shake your body with loud music and enjoy some alcoholic drinks; or the quieter pubs to have space to chat with your guide deeply about the local life here and make friends with others expats (Drinks are exclusive in the program).
22:00: Get back to your hotel to relax.
