The guides were good as well; we had exceptional guides in Agra and Jaipur.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on this tour! The scenery throughout was incredible, and it was a great contrast to time spent in India’s North visiting the Golden Triangle. Walking in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, a tour of a spice farm, and time on the houseboat in the backwaters were particular highlights. Pacing of the trip was good, with multiple nights in some of the towns, in between longer drives.
Our driver, Noufel, had a good grasp of English, and was very helpful. The tour company and their staff were also very communicative via WhatsApp, and checked in throughout to ensure everything was going well. Our hotels were comfortable and served good food. Most had AC (though it wasn’t really needed in Munnar due to the altitude).
Visiting in Summer, there wasn’t so much wildlife, but the scenery everywhere was still amazing!

I have had all the peace of mind since arriving in India with the receptive at the airport. And the whole script was fulfilled as agreed. The guide in Spanish and the driver were very attentive and helpful. Being always punctual, very clean car and very skillful driver and drove in complete safety.

I would like to share my deepest gratitude and recognition for the professionalism and excellent services I received, especially from Mr. Jainendra Sigh, during my recent trip to India.
Mr. Jainendra who organized the trip both by air and land, made arrangements in lovely Heritage hotels, which food and services were outstanding, and an impeccable white car that Mr. Kumar drove. At the same time Mr. Jainendra provided me with a guide every time I arrived to a new city, and was able to visit the lavished monuments as well as its beautiful people. Mr. Jainendra listened to what I wanted and planned every single day according to my interest.
Mr. Kumar, with his white and impeccable car drove me around India, from Udaipur to Ranakpur, to Jodhpur, to Pushkar, to Samond, to Jaipur, to Agra and finally New Delhi, was a smooth and happy ride.
Every day, Mr. Kumar had a big smile, and his driving knowledge and experience was excellent. I am a photographer and he would kindly stop wherever there was a shot for me to take, and drove through places that were out of this world. I have to add there was always cold water in the car.
I took a plane from New Delhi to Varanase and from Vanaranse to Udaipur. I hope to be back in India soon, but in the mean time I am planning a trip to Cambodia and Vietnam with the team.
I was and will always feel in good hands if and when I make my plans through the team.

The Spirit of Laox trip was excellent, great value for what was included. We especially liked the trip on the Mekong River, it was a lovely restful day inbetween alll the other full on days. We liked the amount of activities and trips provided by Explore and all were interesting and enjoyable . The tour leader, Silk, was great and he had a huge knowledge of the history of Laos and Cambodia which added to the interest The local guides, Tae and Pheng, in Laos were also very knowledgeable and helpful. This was a great trip full of wonderful and varied experiences plus a number of highlights including: Bodh Gaya and important Buddhist sites, Varanasi, the Taj Mahal, Shimla and The Golden Temple at Amritsar. Travelling by train proved to be fascinating and a good way to meet people, even if it was not always totally comfortable. Pemba was an excellent tour guide, caring, well organised, knowledgeable and extremely likeable. I would certainly recommend the trip as a good way to explore this part of northern India.
