A wonderful trip which just got better by the day. The pace was great, sometimes demanding but with sufficient downtime to chill, and encounters with locals so enriching. This trip was excellent. Our guide was great, the accommodations were varied but all very good, the food was good too. We really enjoyed the riding, it was varied and through lovely countryside on quiet country roads and lanes. The riding through the cities and towns was a bit more challenging, but the traffic was very considerate and we were well guided through by our guide.The organisation, along with attendant bus and driver, and truck and mechanic, was outstanding. We were very grateful for the electric bikes, some of which were better than others. Felt we had a very good experience of Vietnam. Thoroughly to be recommended.

I did the ABC Trek in December 2019. Was an amazing experience and the trek was stunningly beautiful. My guide Deepen had a great knowledge of the mountains and was very attentive to my needs. He had a good understanding of what different clients are capable of after watching them on day 1 and then made sure the trek was suitably challenging but not out of their comfort zone. I always felt that safety was a priority and when extreme bad weather came in when only a few hours from our ABC destination, I was comfortable with the decision not to risk it. No one went up the mountain that day. The trek was fun, heaps to see, lots of people to meet along the way and Deepen always discussed the plan for the following day the night before, so I felt engaged and knew what to expect. Overall a great trip, would highly recommend but make sure you take some very warm clothes if travelling in winter. I'm thinking myself of planning another trek.

I recently retired and this was my first big “freedom trip.” I wasn’t looking for luxury. I just wanted something different from the usual cruise trips I took or all-inclusive. India and Dubai? Watching the chaos of Delhi traffic from the safety of our coach, standing in front of the Taj Mahal or riding through the desert dunes outside Dubai, it all felt great.
