Although classed as level 1 adventure you do need to be fit. One day cycled 15kms, another climbed all 1100 steps up Lion Rock. You did not have to do these things but would have missed interesting fun experiences. I travelled with my sister. We are both in our early 70's and managed all the included activities. Enjoyed the age group varying from late teens upward.

Really excellent trip - we saw and experienced so many things. Only downside is it meant a lot of travelling on the bus and only one night in every hotel. Highlights were the Safari - seeing the elephants especially. Climbing Lions Rock at 6am and the delightful food we had along the way. Our guide, Chamodi was very enthusiastic and friendly. She was especially good with the children.

The guide was really knowledgeable and was able to tell us about the history of all the places we visited. The itinerary was good and we were able to see many sights and places that we would not normally see if we had booked on our own. This was an amazing trip and a great way to experience a small part of Oman. Marshal our tour leader was fantastic, always polite and professional, he was very happy to share the history and culture of Oman and to show points of interest which we might have otherwise missed. We covered a lot of ground in a week but saw wonderful and very varied scenery, enjoyed good food and had a lot of fun. The drivers we had were fantastic and I particularly enjoyed the drives in the desert and the mountains.
