Awesome trip. The app was amazing, it helped a lot! The luggage was waiting for us at the different hotels and the hotel accommodation was amazing and placed close to the town centre's. We loved all the towns we rode through and stopped at. It was a fantastic trip!

G adventures was one of the best things I choice to do. I made friends that will last a lifetime, and memories that are unforgettable. The CEO Fhilip was amazing knew so many things about each city and gave great recommendations of things to do. Was so professional but also very fun and friendly. The trip moved very fast and had about a day in each city. Would have liked to have more group activities to do but the one bike tour we did was amazing. All the accommodations were great except the hostel in Amsterdam, was very bad, so far away from everything, rooms very small as well as the bathroom. We shared a bathroom with other people in the floor which is fine except someone kept flooding the toilet and making it unusable.
I would say the tour was exactly what I’d hoped for and the other people on the tour made it exceed expectations in level of enjoyment and experience. Felt as though it was exactly what I needed and the memories will stick with me for many years to come.
The trip was outstanding. Beautiful scenery, safe, comfortable routes. Superb guides. Fun riders from around the world. Delicious food. Nice quarters, and friendly staff. Would definitely do it again. Highly recommend.
Cycling from Amsterdam to Bruges was amazing. Such beautiful scenery and so, easy to navigate. Whilst it was a challenge with some big rides, we loved every minute of it.
Starting in Amsterdam and finishing in Belgium's capital city of Brussels, we recommend adding a few extra nights on to do city breaks in both cities to discover the variety of architecture, historic sites and monuments as well as shopping arcades, parks, gardens, art galleries and museums. Discover why millions visit these two key European cities every year with Amsterdam's famous network of canals (a UNESCO World Heritage site), its infamous red light district and its fabulous squares - Dam, Rembrandtplein and Leidseplein. Brussels is famous for its food, comic strips, the world-famous Manneken Pis statue as well as the Atomium and the amazing Grand Place.
As well as the start and finish cities, this linear route is mostly flat cycling and allows you to discover even more Dutch and Belgian treats - for the eyes as well as the tastebuds. Archetypal images of Holland include its windmills and bridges with plenty of windmills in Kinderdijk and bridges in Papendrecht to feast your eyes on as you cycle across Holland's Green Heart. Famous local snacks from Gouda include syrup waffles (or stroopwafels) and cheese. Continuing southwards you'll get to see the Biesbosch National Park, one of Erurope's last remaining freshwater tidal areas, before heading over the border into Belgium where you'll discover the historical cities of Antwerp and Leuven with awe-inspiring architecture and delicious beer and mussels (moules) with Belgian triple-fried chips (frites). For those with a sweet tooth, Belgium's sweet and sugary gaufres (with various toppings) and the luxury pralines and chocolates are well worth trying an assortment.
Our self guided Bruges to Amsterdam was fantastic and I recommend this trip to anyone who loves an easy cycle along canals, country roads and farmers fields. They have the best fed livestock, ducks and goats we have ever seen. Beautiful homes so well kept! The accomodation was good to great and the luggage transport seamless. The app worked well along with the trail numbers to follow that were issued as a daily booklet. We had arranged to arrive at the first hotel a day earlier. Brugge was lovely and it turned out to be a good decision. My e-assist bike was fine but my husband"s bike had gear problems so was issued another bike. It was the same brand but older looking. On day two he had a flat. Luckily a very good bike shop was not that far away and we ended up purchasing a new tube. The old tube had been patched too often to make it a safe option to continue using that tube. That was the only negative.
Spring time in Amsterdam is already a banquet of dreams, with endless rows of tulips leading to traditional windmills, locals riding bicycles along pretty canals, and the city abuzz with the approach of Summer. But we're making it even better. Think cheese tastings, modelling a traditional clog, a locally guided Dutch bike ride through the streets of Edam and even visiting the famous Keukenhof for a view of the vibrant tulips. And you have yourself a very splendid Easter in Amsterdam.
