Ringo en Mahamoud waren buitengewoon deskundig, geduldig en motiverend. Hun kennis van de berg, hun aandacht voor ons welzijn en hun constante aanmoediging hebben een enorme rol gespeeld in ons succes. Zonder hen hadden we dit nooit gehaald.
Daarnaast willen we ook het hele ondersteunende team bedanken: de dragers die met zoveel toewijding alles de berg op brachten, de ober die ons telkens met een vriendelijke glimlach bediende en natuurlijk de chef, die elke dag opnieuw heerlijke en voedzame maaltijden bereidde. Het voelde als pure luxe om op deze manier verzorgd te worden tijdens zo’n uitdagende trekking.
De combinatie van professionaliteit, gastvrijheid en persoonlijke aandacht maakte deze ervaring onvergetelijk. Wij kunnen van harte aanbevelen aan iedereen die de Kilimanjaro wil beklimmen!

Incredible experience!
My wife and I just got back from our trip to East Africa. For the first leg of our adventure, we booked thru bookmundi the 4day Serengeti experience with a local travel operator.
It was incredible. We were blessed with a great day in the Serengeti, seeing 23 different lions in one day! The most amazing was a full pride, Momma and 3 babies crawling around the Cape Buffallo they had taken down, were soon joined by her 2 other female lion hunting partners. Just around the corner was Dad enjoying the morning sun after filling his belly. We spent some time admiring him alone before any other drivers came to investigate.
We also saw a leopard dragging an impala it had caught back to the hill it had been hiding in, as well as elephants, giraffes and so many of the usual gang roaming around Africa!
Highly recommend it! Manyara was quite as full of visible animals, being a dense forest, but if you like monkeys, the baboons will not disappoint! Troops of hundreds.

This safari exceeded all my expectations. We departed from Dar es Salaam and enjoyed a cross-country drive where we got to soak in the Tanzanian wilderness. Arriving in Selous was like going back in time, everything was so wild and beautiful. Completely off-grid. We stayed at Hippo camp which was a nice little collection of wooden lodges on the river side with a great view. All meals (even the packed lunches) were of a high quality.
My favourite wildlife moment was feeding the bush babies at night in Hippo camp - wish I could have taken one home. On the third day we woke up before sunrise for a jungle walk with an incredible guide who entertained us and told us 'bush' stories wish were certainly unforgettable! The wildlife in Selous was definitely up to scratch and it was so enjoyable to cruise through the varying and outstandingly beautiful wilderness. Book it now!

My husband and I recently returned from a eight days safari in Tanzania, the wildlife was really exciting. We saw many animals in the nature. This was one of the best experiences we ever had. Everything was organised perfectly. Accommodation was superb and the game drives were exceptional. A special mention to our guide for being amazing. He was very friendly, but at the same time he also allowed us plenty of time to ourselves. I really suggest to you to do this.

1) Airport pick up from Mount Kilimanjaro airport to moshi: excellent and on time. Eli is a safe driver.
2) 7day Lemosho route: guide, Good Luck, was professional and caring. Helped checked luggage pre-trek to ensure I have all equipment and clothing, potential risk assessment for the hike. Most importantly he helped me to reach the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro successfully despite being 4 hours later than everyone due to my slow speed.
3) Team: one guide, one chef, (Amos), one waiter (David). These were the main people who spoke to me. Great English. 4 porters who helped me as I was walking like a snail and had some slight toe injuries. Full team was very attentive to my needs and preferences of food, comfort level, questions about anything about Mount Kilimanjaro. Very friendly and patient crew.

This was most definitley the best trip of my entire life! What an amazing adventure. I was in two minds as to whether this was the trip for me, right up until I arrived I guess. The whole experience, from the people I travelled with, the inspirational guides and porters who looked after us, to the incredible feeling of reaching the summit, was just one that I will never, ever forget. Both Exodus and The African Walking Company inspired complete trust and confidence. I and a few of my university friends took part in this 7-day tour, and the experience was mind-blowing! Going out on a game drive in the morning, I heard the roar of the lions in the savannah as the sun rose, saw the hunting of cheetahs in the afternoon, and sat by the campfire at night and talked under the sky full of them. The travel team arranged everything so nicely for us that we never felt bored or tired. Especially in the Serengeti, seeing the wildebeest migration in front of the eyes - that roar, that tremor, that race - still rings in the ears.
